    I've been 'set up' by my best friend and his girlfriend before. Wasn't a bad date, but we just had no chemistry. At the end of the night we both had a laugh at how the date went, and then agreed that my best friend and his girlfriend would be more disappointed than us.

    They were :)

    My best friend's wife tried to set me up back in February of last year.

    The girl was moderatley cute, and strangely enough we both drove white ford tauruses.

    She just ended up being too busy and I ended up being kind of more interested in winning a game of air hockey then trying to make an impression.

    I have never played the role of matchmaker but I have had many dates in which friends have matched me up with friends of them. For the most part, they were what I would call "one and done" dates, but my wife was a fix-up by my boss. We've been married over 6 months so it can work. Granted, it has been a very frustrating and trying 6 months but I guess that is another story for another time. :D
