Looks like the warriors are saving some energy for the game with us....
    Bad news?

NO!!! Bring them on, bring your fresh leg and run. The Rockets will get more satisfaction beating a running team than a dead horse. :p

Tracy and Yao show more chemistry. Rox win by more than 10.

This should be a fun game, the Rockets will win. They will just keep on taking care of business, winnning the games they should, esp. at home, as will be the case the whole yr.

It should be a blow out win for Rockets for sure. GS on the 2nd game of back to back and JRich is not playing. Rockets by 20.

    Andris Biedrins on Yao?
I'll take the Rockets on this one. I'll be rooting for the Rockets to break 100.

    103-88 Rockets

This is one of those we must take down.

Yao will score 30+ and grab 15+ rebounds. Tracy for double-double.

hopefully Tmac does play - although a concussion is dangerous business not too be taken lightly.

    88 - 81 - another drag it out win.

Naaaaahhhhh.....Yao Ming told the Chinese reporters that he will strive to get as many rebounds as possible in the next 4 games, hopefully 20 rebounds each game, such that he can be > 11 rpg.......by the 20th game mark. :D :D :D Then he will start working on reducing his turnovers per game. He said he's p@$$ed about averaging 4 turnovers per game....and he wants to keep it under 3.

He's probably joking....but IMHO he is serious to get his rebounding average back above the 10 rpg level, and reducing his turnovers per game.

It will be the cherry on the cake when the Rockets win after the Aussies won the second test.

Yao to unleash 50 on GS.

they got blown away early. those kind of games end up more like training runs. they'll be fresh enough against the rockets.

Tomorrow's game will be crucial for our bench. Notice in the spurs game that they did a good job of closing option one for them as duncan was 6-13 if i remember. Also i think the bench had like 75 points. The spurs were going deep into their bench and had 8 players in double figures. 9 if Ginobli scored 10. We'll see.

My prediction for the game with my own ode to Daryl Morrey statistical analysis:

    Rockets Starters
    Yao - 10
    Hayes – 4
    Battier - 5
    McGrady - 8
    Alston - 4
    6th man
    Head - 4
    Bench
    V-Span - 1
    Mutombo – 1
    Howard - 3

    Warriors Starters
    Biendrins – 6
    Murphy - 5
    Pietrus - 4
    Ellis - 6
    B. Davis - 8
    6th man
    Dunleavy - 3
    Bench
    McLeod - 1
    Barnes - 2
    Roberson - 2

    Formula: (Starters x 2) + (6th man x 1.5) + (Bench x 1) + 3 for home court advantage + number of wins in last 10 games (momentum factor)

    Rockets total: 83.0
    Warriors total: 71.5

    Therefore, Rockets win. :)
Matador prediction record to date: 8-3
