couldn't agree more with the first half of what you said. He is just being lazy. ON Mcgrady's bad day, he is still quicker than 90% of the guys and could finish to the basked if HE WANTED TO....He is just being lazy and telling people he lost a step so we won't expect too much from him...if he drives, he is still one of the best finishers becasue of his athleticism around the basket....even when he drives, if he is surrounded, he can dish to yao for an easy dunk or open 3...yet he settles for an outside 3 pt with 15 sec still left on the shot clock....
JVG needs to stop kissing his ass and telling him he is the next Magic Johsnson...he needs to COACH the guy and tell him to drive the F#$%@!ball to the HOLE....instead after every game he just kisses more A$$ and tells him how great he is...i'm tired of it...Yao can't carry this team by himself..

And could have won at Detroit, at N.O/OK and SHOULD have won the Spurs game....

This team is growing...gonna be good if everyone stays healthy and our rookies get some PT to get their confidence.

Another good win over a topseed from the east.

There was another possible offensive collapose. Good thing JVG recognized it and he called a timeout after the lead got trimmed down to 17 or was it 14.

    Great win.

I think lazy's a little too harsh considering we're not going to win many games without him.

He said he was going to bring his 'A' game last night and he did. He played like the old T-Mac, hitting his J's and taking it to the rack. He finished around Z and found Yao for the slam. That was a little of both last night (scoring and passing) and in only 10 minutes. I liked it. Then he got KO'd by Deke...

The thing is ... why isn't he bringing that 'A' game every game? Or was last night just special? I guess he DOES always start slow in the month of November...

You are completely delusional, and that is affirmed by the fact that this thread has a 1 Star rating.

There is no such thing as a bad win, just like there is no such thing as a good loss. Why are you complaining about us beating teams with sub 500 records, that is what playoff teams are supposed to do. As for no good wins, a victory over the knicks means the same as a victory over the spurs, mavs, suns, or anyone else when the season ends and it is playoff seeding time. If you want to say the rox have no good wins, then you should mention they have no good losses.

They were competitive at some point in the fourth quarter against the Jazz, Hornets, Spurs, Pistons, and Suns in the games they lost. All those teams should be very highly seeded playoff teams with the exception of the Hornets who are going to be close to the playoffs if not in them.

11-5 is 11-5 and puts us near the top of the West. The Bobcats have their good win by beating the Spurs. I suppose with your logic they are better off then we are right now.

Exactly. How could anyone say the Rockets win against Dallas wasn't good? The Mavericks had all their players healthy and available. Everything was fair. The Rockets also beat Miami, Chicago, Cleveland, and barely lost to SA. How can anyone say there were 0 good wins? Obviously some people have different opinions of what a "good win" is.

I think he is being careful of his body. He doesn't have complete confidence of his body, so he wants to save it for the playoff and the special games (like those against LeBron and Kobe, etc.) and the playoff. Considering of his injury history and his importance to Rockets, I am fine with that as long as we are winning all or most of the games we are supposed to win.

Dallas just lost to Wizards, although in Washington. But you would still expect Dallas to beat Washington no matter what. But this NBA, any team can bite you on any given night(Griz beat the Nugs the other night, Bobcats killed Spurs too) Some of yall just need to be apperciative with current record, cut down this 0 good win talk a little. No team is expected to win every game. We are what we are and developing steadily. One of the most promising season start I can remember for the Rockets.

What are you struggling with here?

You're so quick to point out that the Dallas win should not count, yet we should consider all of these teams lousy? Do you expect us to think Miami sucks because of their record so far? Suddenly they can't play any good ball? But I guess when they regain their form, you'll discount that win too?

Of your 7 teams listed, 5 were in the playoffs just a few months ago. And Minnesota, which did not make it, is not a worthless team. I guess you would look at their 33-49 record last year and assume a free win? Last year, they beat the Clippers, Lakers x3 , Kings x2, Jazz, Dallas, Seattle x2, Chicago, Denver, Indiana, Houston x2, Phoenix, Memphis, and Miami.

They should have beaten us because we were the ones with the roster changes. They got WHUPPED. Since then, we've improved a lot already as the team chemistry builds. Dallas has no such excuse. And you give the defending WC so much respect, yet you discount the defending NBA Champions so readily?

Let me word it differently for you so you can understand... we WHUPPED Dallas when WE weren't playing well yet because of all of the roster changes and what may be our 3rd leading scorer played 14 whole minutes and 1 for 4 and our second leading scorer went 4 for 11 and only played 22 minutes. With these issues, we beat them not by 5 or 10 points, but 31. Not a quality win my a**.

    Exactly what I said earlier.

And just about any team could beat any other on any given night. When you start winning 2/3rds or more of your games, there's no doubt that you're beating some mid-level teams on their good nights when they could beat good teams.

It's just silly to claim '0 good wins'.
