Saw this on some other website. Bynum was still a rook technically (this was preseason) and he would use the f word on a teammate to demand the ball.

Why? That isn't Yao's personality. Is 26 ppg and 10+ rpg not good enough that he has to ream his teammates for not giving him the ball?

KG did the same thing when the rockets played them. down the stretch when it was a close game he yelled at every teammate on the court "get the f'in ball to me! to me!!"

good leaders get thier team in line. it's not taken personally.

kenny smith and mario ellie have stories of hakeem yelling at them. they said they knew they better get him the ball after that.

you don't have to curse. but i'd like to see yao demonstrate his displeasure when he is open and the ball swings to the other side of the court.

This video has been posted here before..

But anyways.. why would we want Yao to be idiotic like Bynum? Plus we have better players surrounding Yao than the Lakers have, other than Kobe and Odom.

Yao already gets the ball enough, he's our #1 option.. where their #1 is Kobe and Bynum isn't even their top 2 option, hence the attitude.

I think if Yao would have said that, it would have been kinda awkward.. for him. He'll probably spend the rest of the season apologizing to his teammates in the locker room. :D

What I want is TMac with that attitude.. but he already have the ball to start with bringing up to the half court anyways..

i think t-mac shall learn from kobe,
kobe just had 52 pts in 3QT last night.

two or three years ago, they are at pretty much same level,
but now, i think kobe is better than t-mac.

t-mac has an equal or even better talents than kobe, but
kobe aggressiveness and competitiveness made him special.

kobe is a playmaker this season just like t-mac,
but kobe can get on fire whenever lakers need him to.

I think that's dumb. He's ruining the team's chemistry that way. Who does he think he is? He's not a superstar. He may become one but for now he's nowhere near. This shows that he has no class. Players with class know not to use expletives especially when talking to a teammate. This also shows that he does belong to Kobe's team because they have the same "me first" attitude.

Everybody on our team knows that Yao needs to be touching the ball as much as possible and if he starts to do this crap to his teammates it is just going to hurt the situation ... let Yao be Yao and be the best center in the league as well as soon the be MVP of the league :)

Isn't it funny that Bynum learned something from Kareem (a winner) who wanted to coach Yao, yet we ignored him in favor of having Ewing (a loser) work with Yao for a few years?

How about old Phil (A winner) wanting to come here, but instead we extend Assistant coach Gundy (a loser) to continue coaching him limited offense.

Difference is, Yao could be an even better all around player with some better minds around him just as quickly as Bynum is developing but the Rockets chose an alternative direction, still with unathletic players and garbage guards like Rafer running the show.

Kobe had 30 in the 3rd qt, not 52. He had 52 in the entire game. Kobe's always got the fire in him, TMac...

Right, Kobe is the only guy who scored 52

Where was his fire when Michael Redd scorched him for 45 2 nights before?

you are dumb... bynum is not being idiotic.. you are. yao needs to want the ball, and t-mac needs to know he can score.. otherwise, we're just a passive team that will lose in the first round. we have no "heart"-filled players. i don't care if i get bashed for this, but i'd trade t-mac for arenas in a second.

I agree with you and it's about time that it should be happening but first of all Yao has to stop running out to the three point line to set picks and also after he has a decent score he must stop having the periods where he gets out of everyones way and lets other players take over the game. For the leader it's a bad habbit which JVG should insist that he drops it.
