Agree. use our best tool to kill them. Don't try to match their best tool.

spanoulis- the guy plays with no confidence and just seems lost out there. He is going to need some more time to be succesful and adjusted in the nba/america. he needs to be on the bench for a while.

mcgrady- doesn't care, bad attitude. Huge dissapointment. Where is the guy from 2004?

    underrated- hayes, battier, head, yao

Cannot tell if you are serious or being sarcastic. But can you reveal a bit how's TMac doing in the practices? Lost interests or still working hard?

Yeah, I'm shocked to hear that. I would like to think that instead of bad attitude, McGrady is just taking it easy early in the season in an attempt to stay injury free and on the floor. Somebody brought up the blocks against him last night on a couple layup attempts. I think that is due to McGrady not wanting to elevate and draw too much contact and come down wrong. He's trying to lay it up quickly instead of elevating for the jam down. Doesn't mean he can't elevate. He just doesn't want to risk injury.

Of course, he is lost. He plays at the 2, however he is in authentic NBA-playmaker. Spanoulis knows that he has no accurate shot, therefore he hesitates to shoot...and seems lost....

Maybe he is in the wrong team...

The thread is most overrated Rox "ON THIS BBS"! Therefore JHo, JVG, Budda(I mean Bonzi) and RA can't be mentioned because they are constantly being lambasted on this BBS. My candidates are Novak & VSpan simply because they haven't lived up to all the hype they've received here. Now, as they get more PT; they will improve and become solid contributers in the rotation. Probably not this season though.

Overrated are the rookies (they need time before they can really contribute).

Too much hate on J Howard (he has a good 16/17? shot) and Rafer ( Rafer is pg and that's what he does, if he gets open 3s he gots to shoot them. Some games they will fall some they won't. He just needs to stay practicing that 3 and all will be good).

What else ....... oh yeah t-mac lazy etc. T-mac is the best player on this team and if he wasn't a Rocket the team would be no where. And yeah he doesnt eye like a kobe but that doesnt mean he doesnt have the same drive.

That trading bonzi stuff on here, better try to work it out, cause bonzi would be a huge + to this team. And if the rockets trade him they would get less back in potential i quess.

Back to the rookie Novak, sometimes i have a feeling some of y'all pro Novakains are thinking he will be 100% from 3 land.

this is hilarious. Tmac does not have 1/10th the drive of a kobe.

It WAS Novak UNTIL the Suns game where I saw Spanoulis unable to get pass Stoudamire in one on one coverage out on the perimeter. C'mon you are a point guard, when you got a center stuck on you and the clock is running down, you don't need a pick every single time, break his ass down!

Only one play is enough for you to take down VSpan? He has at least one outstanding game under his belt, while Novak has zilch, not even a single play.

Novak, Spanoulis. Novak's a second round pick that only made it to the league because he can shoot. Doesn't get open all that well. Looks lost. Can't play d. It appears his maximum potential" is to be a 6'9 Kyle Korver. I think the hype here is just because he's a rookie. No one was excited about Padgett a couple years back when he was shooting 40% from behind the arc. Padgett is basically a little bit stronger, little bit less athletic version of Novak, except Padgett doesn't look totally lost on offense. On D I'd give Padgett a tiny edge even though his d is awful as well. Novak is one of those second round picks that can shoots lights out, but will probably play for like 9 teams like Barry did.

LOL ... you gotta be kidding me. In which way has Novak shown his athletic ability that you rate him above Padgett in that regard?

It can't be a grand total of 3 rebounds in 44 minutes of play?

Yeah man but look anytime you got a center stuck on you and your suppose to have any kind of talent and you dribble right into his chest with nowhere to go...somethings not right with that. I've noticed this about Spanoulis, without a pick being set, he's stuck in mud. He can't create. We already have that with Luther. We need Spanoulis to be that guard that breaks down defenses somehow someway. and i don't care what the circumstances are, if you are a professional guard and a center comes out to guard you one on one, either get past him, or pull up and shoot over him, but don't dribble right into his chest.
