The initial 8 game bundle with 2 year warranty was the launch presale. Let's just say I got very lucky and I saw an old friend when I went to Fry's. The only reason why I purchased the bundle (normally I wouldn't and almost didn't) was so that I could help someone on this forum obtain one for a small finders fee vs paying the outrageous ebay prices.
I see. Yeah I was at Fry's yesterday and they had just got a bunch in. Wanted 1079.99 for the 8 game bundle. I mas mad I finally found a PS3 but they only sold in bundles. Did you happen to get it at the Fry's in Stafford (SW Frwy)?
Yes, I picked it up there. The process took two hours because they weren't suppose to sell the bundles until they finished the presale/preorders. After me and this other lucky couple scored a bundle, the managers told the other employee's their not selling anymore.
