The childishness of professional athletes is stunning. Didn't know about the headband rule before signing a 60 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT! Wow, that is just delusional. Send him to Iraq, he can wear his headband there, under his helmet. For 60 mill he should be willing to kiss Stiles butt before each game, at midcourt.

I would kiss Julia Stiles for free.

    I wouldn't kiss Scott for 60 mill though :p

Both sides look pretty childish in this instance.

I think Flip should forbid his players from wearing face masks when they really don't need to.

That or make them wear a bicycle helmet while they're at it.

So Ben Wallace implying he wouldnt have signed the 60m dough contract had he known about the headbands? WOW. I know we are entering a era of crazy overpaid sportmen but even Bonzi wouldnt do that. :D

However, headband rule is just plain dumb. They are made by self righteous over-arching control freak middle-aged man who can't stand anything if they are not done "their way". Having seen Skiles, I'll make apologies to Van Gundy. He isnt too bad after all - at least he lets his players go to casionoes. ;)

Skiles is one of a kind. Next think you'll hear is that wearing a hair is a no-no cuz it makes him feel bad.

headband rule is incredibly stupid. if anything it might help a player and it certainly does not hinder a player's game.

Seriously, I don't get it. No headbands allowed, no listening to music before games, etc. etc. The issue isn't even whether Ben crossed the line by deliberately wearing the headband. It's just that ... uh, the Bulls suck, they have no team identity, they have no chemistry, they have no leadership, they don't have a soul. And Scott Skiles is more concerned about whether Big Ben is wearing a headband. It's messed up. Seriously.

It's a freakin' headban. It's part of NBA history and it never hurt a player's performance. Skiles is an idiot. Ben Wallace is not a player you want to mess with. There's no point in messing with him. It'll only hurt your chances.

Note to the Bulls marketing dept:
If the Bulls are going to ban headbans, they need to stop promoting images of Ben Wallace in a Bulls uniform and a headband.
