Seeing the Suns as our back-to-back after the Wolves I was curious if they, too, were going to be b2b, but they'll have had two days off. Ouch.

Then I checked December's sked and OUCH!

4 games in 5 days + thrice 3 in 4. And mostly against tough teams and/or on the road. December looks BRUTAL.

December will be a tough month. 10 road games vs. 6 at home if I'm not mistaken. But it's not like November wasn't tough either and the Rockets have a pretty good shot at finishing no worse than 10-5.

The reward for a tough first 2 months of the season is a much easier schedule in January and particularly February. The key is taking care of business at home and against crappy teams. So far they've been doing that.

The problem is how the games stack in short bursts, with tough teams coming or even lesser ones late in those cycles.

Survive December and thrive. If Rox can survive December.

When I first looked at Nov's and Dec's schedule, I simply couldn't believe it. So many games and all within each other by a few days. It seemed to me that the Rockets were playing every other night. I'll have to re-take a look at Jan's and Feb's schedule again, to see precisely how light it is.

Well, the optimist in me says that this might be an opportunity for the Rox to get on a good momentum roll, and be able to keep it up without any long breaks to break their stride.

A guy can hope, can't he?

    I couldn't agree more.

Its seemed like the last couple of years we couldn't win the "easy" ones. For example, the freaking Bobcats beat us!

Anyways I'm gald the Rox are taking care of business.

i think the tough schedule and back to back games will show us and the media that hte rockets health isn't an issue and that we should be kicking butt during december.

only IR's that will be of concern will just be sura and snyder's hand. jhow unfortunately will be back. (pretty sure of it, i mean its just abdominal pains right?)

and i definetly see bonzi being worked in by then. if not by december...then his fat-ass is gone.
