    who's got KG?

Howard injured, Hayes underdone. Yao could be in some foul trouble. Might see a bit more MUtombo than is ideal.

we will find a way though.

    88 - 82.

    Yao 20 and 14. McGrady 22 and 8 assists.

Juwon runs onto the court and hits Mike James in the face with the ball.

    Rockets win 98-88

KG is not a driver, mostly a jump shooter, so Yao won't be in foul trouble because of KG.

    Rockets 97, T-Wolves 81. :D

    Yao 30/13/5/4
    T-Mac 25/10/10/3

    KG 18/10/4/2 but ....

    MJ 15pts

    YAO, FINISH HIM! FATALITY.

    Sorry mortal combat flashbacks. :D

    GO ROCKETS!!!

Thankfully the Rox are doing something the Texans are trying to figure out how and that's called compete and contend. Ah yes, a basketball season that definitely figures to be a good one.

This a real danger game. the woves are starting to gell and anyteam with KG cant be taken lightly. ricky davis and james are gonna be tough to handel. Bill has got to play extended minutes on james. Alston is gonna get his backside handed to him.

I still feel the Rox shouldn't trade mike in the first place, second, it is so bad we can't get him back, though i am as hurt as the other rox fans over mike signing with Timberwolf, but i still think Mike is a good player.
Anyhow, i hope mike to have another bad-shooting game against the Rox :p (sorry, mike)

Has anybody except Matador tried to predict the outcome using any kind of formula/analysis? I'd like to predict a win too but I need some reasons why.

Mike James will be gunning for us, and I fear that. Garnett is always there to hurt us. Ricky Davis can get on a roll, and really hurt us. Trenton Hassell is a strong defensive player and can move well through screens. Last, but not least, is Blount. Blount is a quick center and always gives Yao Ming fits in the paint.

On the other hand, Yao is having a terrific year and T-Mc is starting to come around. Alston is a better distributor than James, but otherwise James slices and dices him in every category. I believe Shane Battier can put the clamps on Ricky Davis. As far as the Chuck Hayes - Kevin Garnett matchup, we will get killed. Can Luther outplay Hassell defensively? I don't know. If Bonzi plays, we will win the matchup battle. If not.....well....I wish I knew. But that's why we watch the game, isn't it?

good work...mike james was a good player to rox, i cant figure it out why "someone" traded him, when he came to rox years ago, he was astonishing! the same feeling to jim jackson, i really like those 2 guys! and many chinese fans have the same feelings too, they just couldn't understand the 2 bad trades.

I just hope people don't go berserk over the Alston-James trade again if James has a decent or better game.

Many people would evaluate their games on a statistical basis, but I tend to see the game from a player's perspective - not saying that I can see things from a professional stand point. However, I have played enough personally to be able to spot a ballhog when I see one, and I understand how detrimental it is for the team when an individual plays for himself instead for the team. James on our team might do well statistically, but that would be at the expense of Yao and T-mac.

Mike James, for some reason, still has that chip on his shoulder and goes off. Garnett gets his. We still spank them. Win.

Take off the rose-colored glasses and breathe in reality for a moment -- 6-11, mobile Top 50 player in his prime against a 6-6, NDBL escapee who misses half of his layups?

Chuck Hayes is one of my favorite players on the team. He has a nose for the ball, doesn't quit on any play and gives 100% effort every time. However, one has to be realistic in evaluations of personnel.
