Before you start talking credibility you should check at the NBA websight because that is where the MVP talk is coming from. Not me.

Next time you should check before throwing stones.

I hope we dismantle the j*zz the next go-around. They just lost to GSW.

All of the players mentioned above are 25 years of age or younger. Maybe they will be in the finals at some point.

The point is that they will be good for many years to come. Not neccesarily champs but contenders and then....maybe champs maybe not. I would prefer not.

Sorry, I did not mean any offense. But you cannot honestly tell me with a straight face that Williams is a legitimate candidate for MVP. Put a scrub like carlos arroyo instead of Willaims into jerry sloan's offense and you still have the same results.

That might be very scary and could be the best young group, perticularly if they land Oden.

The Jazz right now is a good jump shooting and hustle team. What they still need is a reliable post presence, which Boozer might not be able to do becuase of the size of disadvantage.
Also because they are soft in the middle they will have real hard time defending teams with strong post players, like us. Kawme Brown almost destroyed Jazz and Okur's only defensive move against him was flopping. Deron Williams is not John Stockon, and Boozer hasnt proved to he can be conistent like the mailman. So we will see how far this Jazz team will go in the playoff. I say 2nd round.

Out of curiousity, didn't Arroyo play for the Jazz and get shipped out because he couldn't/wouldn't fit into Sloan's system? :/

Well...last time I checked 18 and 9 is only 1pt and 2 assists off of 19 and 11. That is pretty damn close.

The point is that with the way he is playing so far he is getting talk. Mostly because of the way he is running the Jazz offense. That is pretty good for a second year player. Just the fact that he is getting talk is good for him.

I was just trying to point out that Utah has a very good young group of core players that are going to be very good for a long time and will probably be contenders. It is hard to ignore the fact that they have the best record in the NBA and they are so young.

19/11 gets you the MVP. 18/9 should get you some votes, agree?

I hated Jazz because of Karl 'Big Loser' Malone.

I'm happy with them and I enjoy watching their kind of game right now.

you are absolutely right! i've said this for years!

i will say though... that dwill can become that. he looks good man. he may become that go-to guy. and boozer also has that "potential"

all in all though ak47 is their best player and he is a better defender than offensive player... not exactly a "go-to" guy.

i live in utah so i've been to a few games. as much as it pains me... yeah i've been watching them closely. and i met paul milsap and ronnie brewer during the rocky mountain revue and they were cool so i've been watching them.

maybe this is the year sloan wins COY.

Yes, but he did put up some decent numbers and there's no reason he can't put up the same output as williams with the way okur, boozer, harpring are playing.

Take Nash out of the equation and the suns choke. Take williams out of the jazz offense and jerry sloan will make derek fisher into an 18/9 guy. You saw what happened with the suns when nash was out for a bit. The MVP award is not always about stats.

Yeah, they are talented. They'll surely level off some, and hopefully they make it to the playoffs. I want to see how they fair in a 7 game series.

I like the Jazz. They are a damn good team, which is what really wins championships. I can't bring myself to root for them, though. I usually have one or two teams that I like to see winning as long as it doesn't impede the Rockets in any way, but the Jazz dislike is deep-seeded in me, even though that was for the cursed, dirty Stockton/Malone teams.

I agree that their record is somewhat from their suprise attack on the rest of the NBA and that defenses will figure them out. I don't think they will win against us next time.

They peaked early, like they always do, hopefully they will come crashing down, though they play in such a mediocre division they will win going away.
