Defensive tackle out of Michigan, Branch would be a pretty good pick IMO. Travis Johnson is terrible.

No argument here. Travis Johnson cant even get into the same zip code area where the QB is. Hell, he needs a VISA except it expired the moment he became a so-called Pro. Travis Johnson has not even sneezed on a QB much less gotten a handful of jersey. So yes, he SUCKS!!! LOL.

Yes, upgrades at DL, LB and DB are essential. We need speed, talent and/or quality depth at just about every position on the football field.

I mean we are adequate at best at RB, thus the reason for my thread. We cant sledgehammer teams into submission either with power or speed on the ground. That fact is frustrating.

Alan Branch I'll look that one up ...

It's very frustrating knowing that we've spent a #1 Overall Pick, a 13th Overall Pick, and another first round pick that we traded up for (Babin), all on the defensive line and we still can't apply pressure to the QB.

Branch is a HUGE guy whose stock has really risen this season. I think trading down for some extra picks + Branch would be a good decision. We could pick up a guy like Michael Griffin in the 2nd or Merriweather in the 3rd if available.

We need offensive line. Big, nasty, powerful o linemen. With brains and balls.
No need to waste picks on running backs until we have a good offensive line.

Maybe I should change the 'adequate' label. ****!!! We ran for 25 F-N yards against the 29th rated run defense? Unbelievable!

Guess what people this is how it is ... with exception of this draft and maybe a combination of 6 players total, this whole team needs to be gutted.

We cant execute because largely our O-Line sucks. The D-Line is improving but is far from adequate, much less good.

Oh yeah, and Carr is NO GOOD at manufacturing and sparking drives. He is a "game manager" not a "game changer".

We need a safety that can cover, an OLB opposite Wong to compliment D-Ryans, a REAL nose tackle, not Travis Johnson and pieces on the OL to get rid of Flanagan, McKinney, Pitts and Weary. Spencer, Wiegert and Winston are a good start for next year.

I hope DD comes back next year. Say what you want about Dominick but every year pencil in basically for 1000 yds. I dont think he can be an every down back but 15 to 20 carries plus good hands out of the backfield. Definitely a bigger threat pass catching than Gado.

Not really sold on this kid, he's undersized and doesn't have great speed or cutting ability.

I'm still on the Kenny Irons bandwagon, and with Auburn having an off-year, he'd probably be available much later than he would have at the beginning of the year.

What about Marshawn Lynch from Cal? I know he is going to go somewhere in the middle of the 1st round, but if the team wins a few more games they could end up somewhere around the mid first round if they don't intentionally blow games.

I agree with his talent it would be extremely difficult to pass him up, but do you really think Kuby will take him if given the chance? Sorry to say my bet is no.

That being said Kuby has more experience and knowledge on how to build a REAL team and I despite my personal sentiments have to support him regardless of the decision he makes. I mean they've already established that they are far better judge of talent than C&C idiot factory.

If they go for a RB in the first round, they might as well get AP. If they don't then what are the best underated RB's that will slip to the 2nd round?

I still see them using their first 2 picks on defense - DB, OLB.
