From the NBDL to an NBA championship contender team to the starting lineup to a shoe contract in China! I don't think Hayes could've envisioned that a few months ago. It doesn't happen all the time, but he's proof that if you work your arse off you can make it (cue NBC public service announcement music). I'm sure there's still a few guys in the NBDL who think they 'should' be a leading scorer/superstar in the NBA, jacking up shots left and right.
