    Let's be fair here. Battier is playing his worst game as a Rocket. We've seen how he contributes to this team before.

    Even if we have kept Gay, JVG will not play him, period. I hate this stubborn son of b****. He's ruining this team.

    the whole team is not hitting shots

    Padgett and JHo do not deserve those minutes

    especially JHo, he had his chances, did not use them right

    and switching players every few seconds will result in nothing

    JVG play people who can play...

    So far I have not seem one game that I could say he has played for what we paid. He has been average at most and for sure not worth a first rounder.

    Tracy has got to take it upon himself now and carry us to victory.

    He's the best defender on the team. Those defensive fouls he picks up because he didn't get the call would either go to a teammate or be uncontested layups otherwise. As for the turnovers, Battier is averaging 1.2 a game in 37 minutes. Quit exxagerating. He's not a man-to-man defensive stopper in the mold of Ron Artest or Bruce Bowen, but he's arguably the best team defender at the wing position in the entire league, and he has been for years.

    That you'd even consider trading him straight up for Stromile Swift doesn't speak well for your knowledge of the game.

    Most of us would love to believe this.

    Can you offer us any evidence?

    Gay' number;
    Year Team G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
    06-07 MEM 12 6 23.7 .336 .316 .708 1.1 3.5 4.6 0.2 0.7 1.0 1.25 2.30 8.3

    I don't mind his low score average. But he seems to be trigger free and low efficient. That's bad for a ROOKIE. This is just one game. And we all know he wants to prove sth to the Rockets. Just like last time we played them.

    On the hand, I would blame our poor offense on the coach. I just don't buy that everyone on the team outside of the two stars are useless. They are not great players, but solid role players. We just should find ways to utlizes their talents.
