I purchased the mini 6 game weekend package and received an additional game for free. Well that game was last night and I need to rant a little about a fan.

For the drunk idiot who sat next to my father and I...

Tracy's name is "T-Mac", McGrady, or Tracy, etc. Not Son of a b----!
Rafer Alston's name is not "Piece of s--t"!
Deke is pronounced "Deek" not Dick!
    Battier is not pronounced a--hole!
    Billy is not a "sh--head"
I don't really care to hear you tell your friend that you would like to give him a Luther...
Yao can't dunk it from 15 feet from the basket.

These all were stated multiple times and around children.

    So,
Why scream "Son of a b----/Piece of s--t/A--hole/Sh--head give the ball to Yao; when Yao is still at half court?

Please if you attend a game, don't be like this drunk moronic fan. Because you're not a fan.

That's really unfortunate...Did you say anything to them or at least to an usher would have notified the security?

I got the same 6 pack mini-plan and had last night's game for free. For some reason our seats to the game were club seats (I got $14 seats) (must have been a promotion or something). It was freaking awesome but going to be hard sitting in the upper level after that ;)

Luckily we didn't have any A-Holes like that around us.

Yah and we talked to an usher as well but the usher gave one of those weak warnings. And made it sound like well nothing is wrong if they didn't hear it.

By the way, my tickets are usually in the back of section 101. Last night I was in the club section 121. They were great seats.

I don't get it. The ushers do things when unnecessary (i.e. shush the Rowdies) but don't do things when necessary (shut the drunk cursing guy up).

You'd better never sit next to the Rowdies (I've been in the section. I guess that made me one for a game). I'm not saying they're not polite, but they are the most impassioned fans in the arena and curse words come out from time to time.

i was at the game last night and had the same problem, except i don't mind that much but i can understand how it can be disrespectful to a majority of the fans in our section, especially to kids and their family's. it did start to get on my nerves when he kept on saying " i got to piss" like five million times in the fourth quarter!

Well at least the Rowdies are knowledgeable about basketball. I'm sure the threadstarter wouldn't have a problem with passionate fans. Just ignorant fairweather fans who know squat about the team, like the drunk guy next to them. .

The only annoying thing I had at the Detroit game was some 11 year old kid behind me who didn't know enough about basketball to shout anything more than "Come on Pistons" and "Turn it around" at the top of his lungs in a squeaky voice.

Well I guess when you can't spell the 10 letter words correctly, cussing is all you have left.

It is one thing to look like an idiot but it's another to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Cussing does not make you cool. The athletes can't hear you and everyone else around you thinks less of you. Trus me. Explain to me how cussing is necessary and "cool".

I understand the purpose of the Rowdies. They are there to make noise and I think the Toyota Center needs noise.

I am extremely fine with the noise, it's the moronic cussers and the contents of their noise that makes things uncomfortable.

    lmao .. :D ..

didn't u see the rockets commercial with Battier?? they say "it's the entertainment".. well, that's part of the entertainment... I always enjoy r****ds shouting stuff like that.. it's just too funny.. especially in a game where the ROX suck bad or get blown out.. at least u dont feel that you wasted 60 dollars for nothing... :D

    btw, I was just kidding...

here's an advice for all Clutchfans readers:

never drink orange juice when you are reading Clutchfans.. because when u encounter something funny, you will spit it out and mess up the keyboard like I did.. :D

I agree with you 100%... personally, I don't mind if my neighbor fan let out a cuss word once a while if something big happened on the court, but your scenario sounds like a persistently stupid and boorish fan. These guys get on my nerves, too.

U of A fans are worse, they are freaking idiots. I sat next to a guy who compared the opposing team to Lord of the Rings characters! One more Frodo chant and I would have punched him.

:D If I were you, I would cheer for the opponent. I'm sure those guys would be pissed off. I always bring my pepperspray instead it won't turn out right.

Curse words occasionally come out, but for the most part, though impassioned, we are fairly family friendly.

that is really funny...it seemed all the guy cared is movie actors but not the game, nevertheless, both the ring and the ball r round.
