    Geez, this is pretty painless compared to waiting for a PS3 or a Wii. The odds were against us, and it took what, maybe 10 minutes of our life? No bid deal as far as I'm concerned.

    Probably a good thing I didn't get one since I don't know if I have the time to split between multiple systems, WoW, Rockets, etc.

    that was some fukked up ****. i changed my whole thanksgiving plans just so that i could be at my apt. with my hi-speed DSL connection, and then Amazon's servers eff me over. i had my clock in sync and everything.. from now on, i'm sticking with eBay - EFF YOU, Amazon!

    Well, Amazon is back up and it's sold out. My guess (please don't spread the word like crazy) is that there will be 50 or so more available at this time tomorrow - since that's when they're released again if people haven't yet paid.

    damn I am STILL pissed, I was aware that there was a slim chance I would've gotten one, but to have the amazon server crap out was what got me? WTF?? Stop advertising this **** if your server can't handle the load :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Meh, like everyone else, I missed out. Nice way to generate buzz and stress-test the servers at the same time.

    I like how they protected against bots and scripts. Congrats to anyone who got one. It was a total luck thing.
