    They have two of the top offensive threats in the entire NBA and those two players play the two positions that we are weakest at defensively.

    Probably what we should hope for is for Jamison to be way off shooting the ball and for Arenas to be on. That would necessitate JVG letting Spanoulis play to try to slow Arenas down and it would also let us slide by at the 4 spot with Antawn matching up against that ferocious mountain of defensive pressure, Juwan. If their big two get it going, we could be in for a long night. Or it could force JVG to go to Battier at the 4, McGrady at the 3 and then go with VSpan and Head in the backcourt.

    Arenas almost always has a huge game after a bad one. His 7 point opening day game was followed by a 44 point show. I'm expecting a huge game from him.

    That's what I'm afraid of too. I actually like Gilbert a lot as both a player and person, but tonight I hope he goes 0-29

    Rockets win 99-95. A close game but yao and t-mac will put up decent numbers. As for backup players like v-span and padgett, they will step up tonight and make up for the loss of kirk snyder.
