we need chuck back, he was the energy that gave us 5-2. Limit JH's mins to about 10-15, he's too old to be effective with 20 mpg. And i'd like to see vspan get some mins, he got load of energy, we need that when chuck is out.

also i feel we need another C/PF guy to replace JH and Mutombo, in the soon future. these two is not going to be there for long and novak isn't gonna be that plaer. Maybe trade one of our lesser guard cos a back court of head, alston, vspan, Snyder, wells and tmac is just too crowded.

Well if 2 weeks was accurate, Chuck should be back against Minnesota on the 28th.

Perfect timing. We're entering a 3-game homestand, so we should be getting some decent practice time. I can see both Chuck and Bonzi back for the Minny game.

There's some good rest as well. We're going to be at home for 8 days, and play only 3 games in that span.

Chuck should get better. Bonzi should have alot of practice and training time under JVG's watchful eye. I can't wait for these 2 guys to inject some toughness into the team.

let's hope V-Span keeps it up and we up our rotation by 1 player:

    Yao/Deke
Hayes/whoever fots matchups (Padgett, Howard, Novak, Battier)
    Battier/T-Mac
    T-Mac/Head/Wells
    Alston/V-Span

Span should get a good 10 minutes a game out of backup PG, which is sufficient for him to start learning the game. Hopefully 20 games in, he'll have picked up enough to be able to stretch those minutes to 15-18 minutes, giving Alston some rest.

I can't wait for this team post All-Star break. I hope Bonzi is sticking to the plan. After watching the games, I think that injecting Span, Wells and Hayes back into this team could make us top 3 in the league, assuming those 3 gel with the team quick.

Saying that David Lee is better than Chucky is not putting down Chucky. David Lee is pretty special. If I said "Tim Duncan is way better than Chuck Hayes", would you object? I doubt it.

Not just better, but "WAY better" is what one of the deniers said, when the fact is that when these two each played in the first Rockets/Knicks game, their production is pretty similar.

They are similar, you can argue one is better than the other... but Lee being WAY better than Hayes is just untrue.

They are both hustling PFs who rebound, defend, struggle with J and fouls.

The Tim Duncan example is irrelevant. Neither Lee nor Hayes is Tim Duncan.

Hayes is one of the 10-15 best starting PFs in the league, but he's not Tim Duncan.
