I think the problem is When people groan, they groan over and over again about things that are not really worth groaning about. i mean I have no idea how many times i've read that vspan and padgett should be put in, without any reasonable substantial reason beyond, letting themselves prove themselves and giving them time.

So if JVG decided to bench Yao and T-Mac because he thought they weren't working hard enough you wouldn't complain because you have blind loyalty in how the team is run? Yes its true we don't have a direct say in the management of the team but we can vote with our dollars by not watching, attending games or buying merchandise. The same as an average citizen you can't introduce legislation or call for hearings in Congress but all the same we do have the right to beyatch about our sports teams as much as our politics. Also if you don't like all of the bellyaching you're free to skip the Fire Gundy threads, skip the GARM or CF.net altogether.
Actually I think most of the Van Gundy whining is done by a handful of you JVG lovers who can't accept that over half of this board thinks Van Gundy is doing a less than adequate job and should be fired. You can't handle the truth so you whine and whine. That's the reality of it.
Not that I wouldnt love seeing Novak or Vspan getting a little playing time, but seeing it complained about over and over and over with little or no basis or argument is abit tiring. Complaints, "beyatching" and hyperbolic statments are in every forum and are part of the experience; But the question is, do you want Clutch BBS to become no different than the ESPN and RealGm boards. IMHO the vast amount of nonsensical, repeated, juvenille, hyperbolic, trolling, beyatchin in threads is making the GARM indistinct from the ESPN ones... and thats very unfortunate.

Hey, if no one is complaining on the whole freakin team, yeah, I'm going to say coach knows what he is doing. The only complaints seem to come from fans who expect a 60 win season. I'm sorry, this team doesn't have that yet. We have serious weaknesses at the 4 and 1, and not in the same category as SA or even Dallas - YET. To just get on the coach for that is ridiculous. This is a TOTALLY retooled team. And there's a lot of young guys as well. Takes time to build a team...geez. I mean, we're having a winning season and you're already complaining after 11 games. It's just sad. No one has patience anymore, they all want to have results today or make changes. I know the Republicans lost, but that doesn't mean "staying the course" is always a bad idea!
It seems to me that you're the one complaining. Complaining about those who complain about the team. You have said you prize having an open mind yet you seem to want to shut up those who don't just go along with the accepted whatever JVG is doing. We're fans and since the dawn of spectator sports fans have criticized their favorite teams, players and been armchair coaches. Bellyaching is part of the experience. As I said though if you find it so bothersome you are free to skip the fire Gundy threads. Heck I'm not a JVG fan and even I skip those threads.
And you are complaining about me complaining about people complaining about the team. I'm not a blind JVG adherant, I'm just saying it's 11 games - you can't judge someone on 11 games, especially when they are 7-4. Maybe if he was 1 - 10 I'd agree - but c'mon, 7-4???
Its not a question of complaining or not complaing. I for one am all for fans criticising their teams, otherwise a message board would be really dull. But like everything its a question of How much and to what degree? For example, the current criticism of JVG and his rotation are all valid IMHO. However does that mean we need or want to see every thread in the GARM littered with it? All repeating and rehashing the same complaint every other thread? Furthermore how many threads stating JVG sucks, T-mac sucks or Yao is a p***y is too much? Now I find that all of them deserve criticism but alot if not most of the criticism have become so and so sucks, is a p***y etc without real substance or additional analysis. Again these types of posts/threads is to be expected, but to what degree? Should this forum be just like those on ESPN/Yahoo/etc? It seems to me that you are suggesting it should be, that nothing is too much. For example you stated "bellyaching is part of the experience" and suggested those who find it annoying should leave. You are certainly correct in those statements as I once had the misfortune to read the espn boards and left immediately afterwards and I hope CF.net doesnt dive further into resembling that. IMO that would be a dissapointing thing... but I guess others wouldnt mind so to each their own I guess.
