Yeah A-Train have a sense of humor. You're so ****ing serious all the time. I think its really getting to be a problem with everyone on the board. Learn to joke a little.

You're lucky that you're a peaceful little Indian girl, or I'd kick your ass!

I watched him kill the Pacers more times than I care to remember. That argument would fail because it was clear his game translated well to the NBA. People may not appreciate how brutally strong he was. To use the overworked term, he was a "beast" and I hated him (though we usually won most of the time anyway :p ).

    (from today's 'Dime')

Artis Gilmore will play one game for the Jacksonville Jam of the ABA on Nov. 19. Artis is 58 years old and last played pro ball in 1988, but we bet he’ll still get up and swat at least one guy’s shot …

Artis Gilmore definitely up there as biggest Hall of Fame snub.
    http://www.remembertheaba.com/ABAArticles/BallantiniATrainArticle.html

Dave Cowens played for the Celtics and started and played his whole career in the NBA and Gilmore didnt. Definitely holding his ABA tenure against him. Once he got into the NBA his numbers are equal to and better than Cowens' in the same time frame except for steals, though Gilmore dusts him in blocks.

Gilmore also had a laid back, quiet sense about him for a big man (Think Yao or in some context, Dwight Howard) so that means either people like it and take to it or its easier for that person to get critiqued.

^^ I thought you could only get in the HOF if you're retired, but maybe im wrong. Anyway only know the players from the end of the jordan generation ( thats end of bulls ) to now, so i would vote stockton and if Malones in i would vote him out.
