Congrats on becoming a member. What kind of quality do you need to get out of rookie stage?

    back to the game

i hate to sound negative but i think the coach of pistons will dominate jvg and somehow stop yao using prince, nazr, wallace, mcdyess ...rockets wont be in this one...but thats okay, pistons are tough at home, the reason why jvg will look completely dominated is because he still will wear down yao, howard, battier, tmac when he could put in vspan ,wells,novak...god this is becoming a joke. Its going to take an injury to snyder AND alston AND head for wells, vspan to EVER see 1 minute

And the masses yell, "Play Novak, Play Billy, Play JLIII, Play Bonzi." Since the days of Red, successful NBA coaches have used a 9 man rotation or Less. So the Rockets rotation is: Yao, TMac, Battier, Rafer, Howard, Deke, Snyder, Head, and Padgett. So if you are going to play Novak and/or Billy, who sits? Do you sit Head for VSpan? If you do you are going to lose offense and raise your turnover numbers. Do you sit Padgett in favor of Novak? If you do you risk losing some of these tight games against NBA playoff teams because Novak does not possess the experience of an NBA veteran. So who do you sit, or are you just into complaining? Ideally Billy and Novak can pick up some playing time during the last several minutes of garbage time. But the Rockets have been trying to get W's in tightly contested finishes rather than providing the rookies with pt. Would you prefer a L and PT for Novak and Billy? And insofar as Bonzi is concerned, did you actually see the guy the few minutes he has played this year? He looked like he had "man boobs" from being so badly out of shape. Is it JVG's fault that Bonzi had a groin injury, dental problems, personal problems that caused him to miss all the conditioning that comes from preseason? To the JVG haters he is responsible for everything - everything bad that is.

Should the Rox remember how to stop playing stupid ... Rox should win this game. PISS-tons really miss Big Ben's presence.

    Rox 100, Pisston 87.

Because JVG never played them when we had chances to put them in, how can you expect them to have NBA experience in the near future?

yeah, what's up with all this, 'i'm better than you because i've been here longer than you, rookie'? there's no need for that, unless of course said rookie is being an ass. haha! i love the 'THAT SUCKS' at the end, that should have been message...very succint! hahaha

but i agree that it was when yao was on the bench that the lead started to dwindle; it wasn't yao's fault though, it was the fault of our guards for not being able to get him the ball in positions where he could score...a lot of that could have been bulls d though...

I think the Rockets offense is farther along than their defense. The ball movement is already really good and TMac has adjusted nicely to having the offense go through Yao. The spacing seems good and they usually get good shots off. The Rockets still have problems with their perimeter defense, but I expect that to get better. Watching the Pistons last night, I felt that they were bailed out by the Wizards having absolutely no front line. They got a ton of offensive rebounds, but Detroit is essentially an all-perimeter team now on offense and any good post player can do damage against them. I think the Rockets win a close one tonight.

Doctor: Gundy, where is your heart?
JVG: I don't know. I am wondering about that too.
