ok guys, here's what we do. When da Bonz is out in da club, we roofie his fat ass. While he is passed out we staple his stomach. He'll be in shape in no time!

the only problem is that JVG has used up a lot of benefits of the doubt the last few years. at some point, he is the problem.

Bonzi needs more money i guess to do tango. If you know what i mean. But the way this team plays, it might not hurt the team if he is not in line up.

Remember the poster that was telling us about going up to JVG and congratulating him on signing Bonzi and JVG saying thank you but it may all be falling apart right now and then his cell phone rang. I remember something about Keith Jones going to see Bonzi or something like that. Looking back on that now, probably went something like this, they get him to agree to the contract, then they send Keith Jones out to do a standard physical look see and Keith calls up and tells them dude is 260. That's probably when JVG got wind of it and the deal started looking precarious.

    Where is IC2000????

Why isn't he giving us a report? He knows what is going on, I'm sure.

you guys saying fata$$ sucks are retared... c'mon.. how can bonzi NOT help??? please, name one thing that he would NOT help on.

and don't give me little stupid mistakes, b/c jvg plays head, snyder, blalbhalbhallbha thru all their stupid mistakes..

IT's an EGO issue. plain and simple. time doesn't lie, and JVG has treated talented players like this all the time.

disclaimer!! --> i'm not saying bonzi is the best or even better than head.. or snyder. i'm saying that if you just played him, at least you could actually SEE what kind of team you had. games will be lost in the regular season. as long as bonzi doesn't pull our team into a below .500 team, i don't see why we don't play him this early in the season.

    The problem is Ego.

    JVG has HUGE one.

Players like Bonzi need different attitude to be handled. If you dont think you can then dont bring them in, in the first place!

Seems like within last 2 years, JVG has had problems with quiet a few players.

Don't I wish I had this kind of inside info. I'm just reading the tea leaves like the rest of you.

We have a knucklehead who can be productive when he's in shape and can be a liability when he isn't.

We have a coach who doesn't like knuckleheads.

We have a bunch of other guys who work hard, do what they're asked to do, and would be surprised to see the coach start making exceptions to these expectations for a knucklehead.

Unless the knucklehead knuckles, he's gone, and his value takes another hit. You'd think he'd figure it out. But then, he's a knucklehead.

Another possibility is discipline and philosophy issue, not an ego issue. JVG is famous for his discipline. If players don't report at a proper weight, they can't make it into rotation. Assuming JVG has been like this for every other player, why would he make an exception for Bonzi?

This is like... why would Rockets offer a no-trade clause to Mike James last time when nobody else in Rockets get it?

Do you guys think Pat Riley will play Bonzi with his current situation if Bonzi's under his wing? I think he will play the guy to his last breath. :D

hey, what the hell is wrong with u dude ?? are u JVG's official spokesman or something?? nobody messed with u, so shut up and dont attack somebody me if u dont like my opinion..

and btw, if 6 out of 9 is what it's all about, good luck.. if u watched the spurs game and tonight's game, that's not mentioning the Bucks game, u should be upset with the bad performance of the team that is a direct result of JVG's poor decision making and roster choices.. why the hell would u keep Bonzi on the Inactive list?? to get in shape, how the hell is supposed to get in shape if he aint playing games??

Once again, Isiah Thomas is the perfect replacement for JVG. He has no problem playing fat guys at all.

Van Gundy...the only way to get in shape is to log 30 minutes on him at least per game!! Did Tmac get in shape without playing in nba games? NO!

My reply had nothing to do with JVG. It had all to do with you. I could care less about your opinion.

I flat out do not understand how Bonzi was recruited to the Rox. If JVG was not on board then CD et al are THE KNUCKLEHEADS.

If JVG was on board then Bonzi is THE KNUCKLEHEAD (in this).

Just wondering - if JVG was not on board is it a message from the owner?

Van Gundy is the problem. What team in the league won't play Bonzi Wells? It's not like he's been out of action for an entire season. He played in the playoffs and was stellar! That's better than anyone on the team can say, including JVG. So what if he's chubby. He's right, basketball isn't a marathon you can play anywhere from 1-48 minutes. This is completely an ego matter and Bonzi sounds like he just wants some respect and be treated like the veteran he is.

I mean, take a look at Shaq... people just expect him to be fat and out of shape to start a season these days. It's not the greatest example to show the rookies, but come on... Bonzi, Shaq... these guys have paid their dues in the league...
