Same deal as Show Me What You Got single, the whole new album Kingdom Come was released 10 days before store release date.

I'm listening to it now, don't tell ;)

E-mail me if you want some download linkage.

    Discuss.

Awesome. I expected to be disappointed.

This is the most musical Jay-Z album I think. Best album lyrically since Reasonable Doubt probably. The production is pretty immaculate too.

Don't know about the Coldplay collab though.

When I was DJ-ing everytime the records leaked it was by the labels themselves. I am sure things have not changed one bit.

On topic, I am looking forward to this CD. I'll check it out when I get a chance.

    I'm still working on it.

It's quite different from his usual style.

I am slightly disappointed, but I guess the album will grow on me.

Just listened to it this morning on the way to work (Thanks Omer)

Like Chicken Boy said, this album is very musical and i think this is an album that even non hip hop fans will enjoy. I really like the beats and its a nice change from the usual stuff coming out nowadays. I think it'll take time for it to grow on me like Show Me What You Got. Honestly, no matter how good this album was, it would never live up to the hype it got.

That said, Nas is the GOAT and I can't wait for his "Hip Hop is Dead" album. BTW, has anyone heard "Black Republican" with Nas and Jay-Z?

Just listened to the album in entirety. That track with John Legend is the best one, imo. Not sure what I think of the last track with Chris Martin. Its unique.

Yeah this album grows on me day by day.

    I'm feelin it more now.

Definitely couldn't live up to the massive anticipation and hype but I guess its better than nothing. Would rather have Jay-Z back than not have him at all.

I personally like Show Me What You Got, Kingdom Come, Hollywood with Beyonce, and I Made It.

What I love about Jay is that he tries different things it seems. I get tired of the same ol' beats from everyone.

Jay makes himself and every track unique and his own and I think it's great in a world full of copy cats. I mean, is there ANY difference between any of Nelly's tracks?

Look at when he did a track with Lenny Kravitz on the Blueprint 2 Album. What other rapper would even attempt that? And, he pulled it off and it was hot.

So far, from the three samples posted above, it looks like it's more of the same (or should I say more of the difference).

Can't wait until this CD drops.

I'm not really a JayZ fan. I thought that new song show me what you got was whack, especially with danica patrick and Earnhardt in the video. Whack and not very good music if you ask me.
