What is the difference between the two? Initially I thought that they are same or at least similar, but just now I checked 82games.com and found that they are doing instant update for this season.
Quite surprisingly, the roland (+/-) rating is QUITE different from the lenova one, and the roland one makes more sense to me.

    Selected Roland Rating:
    Yao +17.5
    VSpan +9.1
    TMac +6.6
    Battier +5.8
    Hayes +5.7
    Alston +1.9
    Padget -11 !!!!

The "Lenovo" is suppose to be equivalent to the "on court" column from the page you selected divided by number of minutes played multiplied by 48.

I have to say it is marketing brilliance to try to make the +/- stat be your company's name.

Novak 's playing time is only 6%.
Correct me if I am wrong, in statistics, this means the sample rate is insufficient.

I believe 82games and the lenovo allocate scoring on free throws differently. My guess is that 82games allocates free throw points to the people that were on the court at the time of the foul while the lenovo stat allocates points based on who is on the court at the time of the free throw.

So that's why you deliberately included Spanoulis with a playing time of 3 minutes, or < 1%

That being said, lenova doesn't make as much sense.

I also didn't put in Howard, Mutomubo, why you didn't have any opinion?

Because your ham-fisted attempts at subterfuge do not concern them, that's why.

I'm not positive, but this is the only thing I could think of being the reason lenovo has units with Chuck Hayes doing better than the corresponding data for 82games. The points scored for the Rockets were matching up much closer than the points against.
