The greatest rivalry in college football is this weekend. I'm going for Ohio State. It's going to be a dog fight. What's even great about this game is that regardless of the outcome, a Big Ten school will get an opportunity to win the national championship. I'm a Big Ten guy and I root for the Big Ten, even though it's Michigan.

This should be an amazing game...this will probably be better than the actual national championship game in January...

    OSU: 35

    Mich: 31

Having seen both teams dismantle my Hawkeyes this year, Ohio State is the better team.

That's because he spent too much time on the bench this year after throwing interceptions, or clearing turf out of his helmet after getting sacked.

    Should be a great game.

The greatest college football rivalry north of the Mason-Dixon.

#1 and #2 by a mile at this point, playing well better than everyone else.

I think ya'll are way overrating points. Both teams have great offensive playmakers, but even better defenses. Usually the defenses tend to take over in situations like this.

Michigan IMO is the better and more complete team. I they have the better, more experienced, defense and better running game.

But Troy Smith is the best player in the game and of all of college football, and it is at TOSU.

I still predict Michgan to win. Say 20-16.

I think the loser gets a rematch if both SC and FL stumble, I think the loser will stay ahead of ND, Arkansas and Rutgers in the BCS, so we might see this game again.

I'm already sick of the hype for this game. Game of the century?

I thought that's what they said about OSU vs. UT, UT vs. USC, USC vs. ND, OSU vs. Miami, etc.

That being said, I believe OSU will win comfortably but not in a blowout.

The Texas vs OU rivalry is better than OSU Mich when both teams are in the top 5.

I don't see Ohio State and Michigan fans meeting at the 50 yard line.

Ohio State is going to beat the hell out of Michigan. The Wolverines are pretty overmatched, the only hope they have is if they come out and hit a big play or 2 and cause a turnover, like they did in South Bend. But Ohio State is just the better team, and Troy Smith is gonna make plays when they need them. The Buckeyes are going to beat 3 #2 teams to win the title.

What a great season of college football. #1 vs #2 Ohio State vs. Texas rematch earlier in the season. #1 vs. #2 Ohio State vs. Michigan, the biggest rivalry in college football, to decide half of the national title game, and #3 vs. #5 USC vs. Notre Dame, the 2nd biggest rivalry in college football to decide the other half of the national title. And perhaps one hell of an explosive title game, Troy Smith, Anthony Gonzalez and Ted Ginn, vs. Brady Quinn, Rhema McKnight and Jeff Samardzija.

2nd biggest rivalry in college football? Notre Dame isn't even USC's number one rival. That would be UCLA.

    Michigan should win this game.

Notre Dame in the championship game would be a travesty - they'd be trounced.

That isn't happening. There is almost zero chance ND would be ahead of the Mich-TOSU loser, who doesn't play again.

The BCS championship will have TOSU-Michigan winner versus the Florida/USC style points winner, or if both Florida/USC lose than it goes to the TOSU-Michigan loser. Both Michigan and OSU have trounced ND within the past year, there is no way the voters allow ND to be ahead of those two as 1 loss teams, and ND will be way back in the computers because of their soft schedule.

ND has been out of the NC race since their blow out lost to Michigan at home, pretty simple.

I think those of you that think TOSU will put 30 on Michigan are high as a kite. The defenses will control things and IMO we will see a couple big plays by Troy Smith, Ginn, Manningham and Breaston making the difference.

I still like 20-16 Michigan, I predit Hart and the Michigan run game do just enough to keep the Buckeyes having the load up the LOS and Manningham is the difference on 2 down field TDs off isolations. Michigan is by far the best defense the Buckeyes have faced all year. The Buckeyes will get zero from their run game and Michigan is #2 in the country in sacks, Smith is going to have to play outstanding and hit some big plays because they will not sustain long drives on Michigan. I would not put it past Smith, he is the best player in the country, but he will not have faced pressure like this since Texas and PSU of last year, and he was control and his team lost both times (though Smith played less than a half versus Texas).

I think Michigan wins. They have a nasty defense the likes of which OSU hasnt seen all year (and dont say Texas, they give up more pass yards than aids). But if they do win... OSU vs UT (1vs2), OSU vs Mich (1vs2), and OSU vs #2 (natl championship) then wow. Who plays 3 number twos in the same year!?

I root every year for the BCS to give us some crappy National Championship Game so that there will eventually be a playoff. Last year it gave us way too good of a game, so this year needs to make up for it. I'm rooting for a 6-fumble -per-side game that Ohio State eeks out primarily because of one really bad call. And then we get to do it all over again in January.
