First I set my lineup late two weeks in a row resulting in, predictably, two losses. Then this week I let Fade off the hook and will likely come up short as a result of only having one flex defensive position filled. So much for whatever dim playoff hopes remained.
All you need is 9.5 pts. Ronde Barber could easily bring that in. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.
I agree, will switch it to the following: 1. Overall record 2. Total points 3. Head to head 4. Division record 5. Coin flip* Secondly, Icontinue to leave each week a lot of points sitting on my bench, keep playing the wrong players, frustrating.........left 73 there this week.
Absolute bull****!!!! Division record means everything. fade is in my division, I play him once during the season, I beat him. That should mean something. Total points should be the 3rd tie breaker. The object is to WIN games, not who has the highest score. Injuries have destroyed my team. I ain't goin nowhere this year
You guys are turning out to be like my little kids..............cry and complain about everything, can't agree on anything, except you guys will throw out any profanity you can...........for who knows what reason. Not sure why that is required when all you have to do is be a little more civil about it. We will put a poll on the league website to determine what should be the second tie breaker, which I will close before next week games Sunday........do this democratically...
Uh.. I was just kiddin' around. I don't really think you should change it. I even said that I was completely biased.
Too late............. We are now putting it to a vote, last thing I want is someone else to cuss me out, that gets old FAST!!!! So we are doing it the fair way, let everyone vote and I don't have to be the bad guy.........
Complain about everything? little kids? civil about it? Are you freakin kidding me? We are in week 10 of the season and you want to change the rules? Who is the little kid here?
Changing mules in the middle of the stream never really works out. I think that the rules should remain the same as they were at the start of the season. in real football, rule changes never happen in the middle of the action. You take it as a lesson learned for the next season and take care of it then. My vote is to keep the old rules for now, and discuss any major rule changes after this season is over.
First off, I just put together the playoff / tie breaker rules when Fade asked what they were, which was around week 9 as I could not find them under our league rules (on the site) or remember what they exactly were last year. So I tried to do something as close to what I remember from last year, and Fade's post made me think I was wrong on the tie breaker order. The playoff structure should have been mentioned earlier, but I think you forget I took over for Smeg right before the draft and thought that was set. So I didn't change any rules as you say (you just want to assume everyone is cheating and is after you)............. I also put other things that may not have been there last year such as the toilet bowl, 6 teams in each playoff bracket, and so on...trying to make it more fun for everyone, so are you going to cuss and whine about those rule changes too? Second, a kid is someone who is immature and cussing and yelling is not needed and immature. There are much better ways to handle things, take Fade and Moe for example as they can do it the right way. We will keep the tie breaking rules the way they were anybody has any issues you can email me at icouldcareless@takeanumber.com.
Thanks Fade, I took you seriously and you got me to this mess............I owe you, can't wait for baseball season and you take over...........
Finn, I may have figured this out..................are you just getting me back for the fantasy basketball deal............ Or are we just turning into like an old married couple (cause I have that already) who just like to fight........ Cause either way I am kind of having fun with it, as long as it doesn't get too personell. It's all in fun.......like these leagues are suppose to be.
After the whole deal concerning starting players who are no longer even on your team, I can't believe nWo is copying that shady move. If you want Damon Huard to start for you, I think you should have to keep the guy on the roster until the games start on Sunday. I enjoy playing with you guys, but I'll have to find a league that doesn't allow this stuff next season. I think it's BS.
Don't worry I am now watching for that and if people do that, the player will be removed from the roster during gametime and will not be replaced, but I won't do it until they actually break the rules, hopefully they fix it before gametime.........everyone was warned about that. They must be on your roster to be able to be played.........
What did I do wrong? I don't get it....I just picked someone from FA and started him. My QBs were sucking and I just picked someone who was starting and playing well. So we are suppose to keep 1 QB for the whole season? I'm confused...
