I was holding my breath when Chuck Hayes went down tonight. I hope he'll be okay so he can play soon!

that shaq over yao's head it not only a foul with that big elbow to yao's head but also a foul for over the top. yao clearly boxed shaq some sort just that he is so big and went right up through yao these officials today sux

We also have the 4th best record in the entire NBA....while playing 5 out of 7 away from home.

This team is going to be REALLY REALLY good.

i never realized how valuable Chuck Hayes was until now. we've got no one to take his spot and now we've got two marquee matchups coming up. i'm sure he'll be out at least for the Spurs game. :(

But having 2 hustle players on the court at the same time like Hayes and Battier makes a MASSIVE difference.

I would rather not see J-Ho on the court ever again.

it's either that or you have jho at 4...i think you know which one you prefer...it's just bad luck chuckie got injured...we'll just have to make the best of what we got...

The reason the team is 5-2 is that you have 4 quick players on the court with Yao...putting J-ho out there means we now have 2 slow bigs on the court.

If that is the case I see more foul trouble for Yao and more 2nd chance points for the other team.

Hayes and Battier are a great reason why Yao is playing so well, they protect him in the paint.

How many charges do you see Battier and Hayes taking? Loads !!

Hopefully we'll go from "#1 defensive team in the league" to "#1 team in the league" come playoff time.

What a crappy shame Hayes is down.. but kudos to JHo for hitting his shots.

We all can see this team is good, but I think this team is only about 40% to it's full potential right now. So that gives me comfort. Last night During the game I don't know if it was Greg Anthony or someone, they said that "The Rockets are not guaranteed to make the playoffs this year" maaan what a load of BULLPOOP!

I hope Greg Anthony runs into Bowen in the streets and accidentally step on his shoes and sprains something.

Rockets are #1 in lowest points allowed and are #1 in margin as pointed out.

Here's another look however adjusting for game pace - ranked by OE-DE margin.

    Code:

    30	MIA	0.5	90.7	98.1	29	107	17	-8.9

Not sure we can say that we have the #1 defense yet in my opinion. DRtg shows that SAC is #1 (wow - a surprise to me) with CHI at #2.

    DRtg ranking we're #7.

I like our OE-DE rating however, just behind the Clippers.
