Hey, I've got an idea! First, we find a total newb - I'm talking one with less than six months as a member and around a hundred posts. Then, we convince that newb to propose that a clutchfans member as distinguished as DaDakota be banned for attempting to support Yao Ming! Wouldn't that be hilarious? If only we could find a newb that stupid...
I don't think that was the only offensive rebound he got... I seem to remember Battier missing a short baseline shot and Yao got the board on the same side of the glass as Battier, then put it up and missed, then got his own rebound and got fouled. That should be 2 right there. Am I remembering it wrong?
That's a hand motion in a still frame. Yao is giving Shaq a pat on the back after the game. Question: What is the text in the cartoon?
Hey DD - Yao also got screwed out of several rebounds/blocks in the Milwaukee game, to the point that I kept Yao's stats during the Knicks game (which were fine). You know how in baseball they tend to making rulings in favor of the home team (hits, errors, etc.)? I'm beginning to think that the NBA is the same way.
Even more hilarious was that the ESPN announcers were even making a big deal about it being his first offensive rebound. And how Shaq would have gathered himself and not fallen down. Never mind the mugging he was receiving at the time. And then to find it not listed. Incredible.
Only time I've ever seen Yao grinning in delight at the suffering of other (proclaimed best center in the NBA). Now if only he does that in real life, Yao will develope a mean streak!
