So does anyone know of a company that is currently looking for Web designers. I have a friend who needs a job bad.

On a related note, anyone need somebody who can code in C/Java/C++/SQL/various and sundry misc. languages?
Hey r****d (R0ckets03), What do you mean by "Web design"? I do Web design, but I suck at it. lol. Does she program? If so what languages? Does she have proficiency in any "Web design" software such as Cold Fusion, Macromedia products, FrontPage, etc.? Does she have a portfolio of previous work? These are questions I think people are going to need answered before anyone even remotely considers hiring someone based upon you saying "hire my girlfriend".
Hey b*stard! (Dr of Dump) Yes she knows those web languages. She does have a portfolio of previous work. She always tells me what she can do, but I really dont pay attention (most of it goes over my head anyways). She just graduated from UH and is looking for a job. I just wanted to know if someone in Houston knows of a company that is hiring any Web developers or designers or whatever.
Yeah, what outlaw said... use a job search engine. Although many of those postings are for people with experience. Also go to the usual work fairs for more leads.
I don't know if she would want to go to Dallas, but I'm turning down a web design teaching position up there (it's alright, I have been offered 2 other jobs). If you want, I can give you some contact information.
