Heh - you tell em KD! Maybe he'll catch a clue after a media peer sets him straight!

    35pts - 17rbs - 7blocks. Wow that's weak. Yao will never dominate.

    ;)

Darn, what a lame player, only 35, 17, and 7? Granted, he can score, rebound, and block shots, but what else can he do?

    :p :p :p

Yeah, he's so lame that the knicks actually could double and triple team him. They don't respect him at all. If they feared him they would have all five guys on him. :D

    No Lie,

He compared him to Kareem who led his team to conference finals in 1 year and Shaq who lead his team to finals in 4, but somehow didn't manage to mention

The Admiral (who if I remember right didn't get to finals b4 Duncan and he was "pretty good" :)).

Shaq even though he led his team to finals, HE was NOT main guy. If I remember right Penny Hardaway was one of the best players in the league and Shaq was playing complementary. + That year Shaq had a team much like this year's Rockets - with 2 STARS - shaq and penny - and good solid role players such as Horace Grant, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott.

Malone - not a center but major focus like one - took like 12 years to lead his team to the finals (which he never won btw).

    Just pointing this out.

I wonder if anyone is going to tell him tomorrow at the office that Yao had a 35-17 night and shot 15-21 from the field. I wish I worked with the guy, I would send him a lovely video and a "wanna rewrite that article now" note ;)

The media will not stop bashing Yao unless he averages 35/15. I say it first here.

His response will be typical: "See? That's what I'm saying. He should be doing that every night. I rule, high five!"

What's wrong with this guy? I haven't read the whole bullcrap but I have this feeling that, according to him, if Yao acts like 'sheed he'd be "dominant"?

    You want personality? Here's some:

In response to today's game, this guy would probably point to Yao's 8 turnovers and say he is a turnover machine and hurts his team.

There is almost no way to convince a racist to abandon his beliefs. It's so unfortunate that these bigots are allowed to write garbage on major news sites and have an audience.

Haha, Yao has had 10 times the amount of critics Shaq has had. The media is in love with Shaq and his opponents DO fear him. This article makes it sound like Shaq was so oppressed. His entire career sneering at critics and opponents? Give me a break...that has got to be one of the worst descriptions of Shaq I've ever seen.

LOL, I actually looked up a CLE, LAL, and Houstons NBA schedules and compared them.

The Lakers and Cleveland (NBA's golden boys) have it easy at the beginning of the season-to get off to a good start, easy at the end of the season-incase the need some wins to get a playoff spot, and before/after there back to back games they play easy teams.

Maybe Stern hates JVG for making those comments about the officials during the 04-05 Rockets-Mavs Playoff series. I don't think he likes T-Mac/Yao much either but thats just me. The media/NBA commentators never have anything good to say about T-Mac and Yao which rubs off on the public.

    We have:
    4 games in 5 days
A week that constists of; Mia, Spurs, Bulls, and Pistons
4 games in 5 days (GS, Min, Bob, & Wiz...too fatigued to beat the sorry teams?)
    3 games in 4 days
    3 games in 4 days
    3 games in 4 days
Mavs-Suns back to back (teams we suck against-as of last season)
    3 games in 4 days
    3 games in 4 days
    3 games in 4 days
    5 games in 7 days
    3 games in 4 days
    3 games in 4 days
    4 games in 6 days

I looked over the Cavs again, they have some 3 games in 4, but not as many. They have a lot of nice breaks. They have some nice 2 week stretches where they only play 4-5 games. In two weeks they play 4 games, Sac, Mavs, Heat, and ATL.

Meh, maybe I just wasted 15 minutes thinking/looking into this crap. It's 6 A.M. I'm going to sleep.
