Yao really struggle with turnovers today, especially with the smaller/quicker Lee and Balkman on him. Not his best game, but enough to win.

If Yao gets 18 points and 14 rebounds against Miami he will be right at 25 and 10.

He is at 26.17ppg and 9.33 rpg.....

When we leaded 20 points, he did not use bench players for resting the starters. After those starters feel tired, our leading shut and easy wins become a hard 4th quarter!

I know you guys will get mad when you read this post. Hey it's a win. But it's not good that Yao / TMAC both had to play 38 mins to beat the league's worst team. What's wrong w/ Rox?

i think you are on to something. he squeezes everything out, theres a curve and players can only do so much before they need rest to reenergize.

He needs to throw subs out there that can play strong d, whats the worst that can happen even if the offense isnt working right the strong d will give them at lest 4-5 minutes to rest the starters.

The knicks went small. I guess JVG didn't think with Yao and Chucky in there that they could stay with them.

Did you watch the game?? The Knicks kept coming back in the fourth. It wasn't a cakewalk out there... at least the whole game wasn't. ;)

And for those giving McGrady a hard time, he kept drawing double teams. I thought he played very well. Had 8 freakin' assists. Just not hittin' his shots, but had a couple of big 3s. I was more surprised with Alston's turnovers, than Yao's. I think at least 3 of Yao's were not really his fault. The way he was playing, I'll take 'em!

The fact that you think that the Knicks are the worst team in the league makes me want to slap a puppy.

He needs 14 boards & 53 pts on Sunday to get back to 30ppg+ and 10rpg.

He is now averaging 9.33 rpg & 26.5 pts.....come on yao.

Maybe the league wants to give Yao ROY now to make up for their mistake 5 yrs ago?

Before we criticize Tracy, it should be noted that the guy did have 8 assists tonight. I don't think he's given enough credit for his unselfishness. It's truly one of his better qualities. He trusts his teammates and he doesn't force his shot into the game. Everything he does is within the flow, and this keeps everyone involved.

If the Rockets want to be a championship team, they need Yao to dominate on offense and defense and they need Tracy to get others involved and to take over only when he has to. Tracy has done that so far this year. When his shot starts falling, just consider that gravy.

if he would have gotten 3 more blocks and two more turnover he wouldve gotten a quadruple double...now that wouldve been his best game EVER... :p
