My prediction for tonight's game with a laughable Daryl Morey statistical analysis:

    Rockets Starters
    Yao - 9
    Hayes - 3
    Battier - 6
    McGrady - 9
    Alston - 5
    6th man
    Snyder - 3
    Bench
    Head - 3
    Mutombo - 2
    Howard - 2

    Knicks Starters
    Curry - 7
    Frye - 4
    Richardson - 5
    Crawford - 6
    Marbury - 6
    6th man
    Robinson - 4
    bench
    Lee - 3
    Rose - 2
    Collins - 1

    Formula: (Starters x 2) + (6th man x 1.5) + (bench x 1) + home court advantage of 3

    Rockets total: 78.5
    Knicks total: 70

    Therefore, Rockets win! :)
Matador prediction record to date: 0-0

Isiah has a nervous breakdown, only after Stephon Marbury and Jamal Crawford have a fist fight inthe visitors locker room... The Rockets start the third quarter up 68-40...

The Knicks like to run, the Rockets will blow them out of the building.

    Rockets by 12.

    108-96.

And, Francis is in severe decline as his athleticism wanes.....as predicted.

Although I think the current Rox is not good enough to do something in the playoffs, I agree they will win this game. I am 120% sure.

Knicks are still the knicks, total garbage. And JVG takes care of garbage team pretty well.

    119 - 70 Rox win

The Rockets are 5-1 against the Knicks in the three years JVG has been head coach.

There's a great site called clutchfans.net that has all the Rockets stats that you would ever want. :D

    Check it out!

I'm excited for this game and will be hitting 114 (where the players in TC dwell) ready to go - thanks to coming across Red Bull in a bigger can yesterday! Oh it's on now!

    Things I'm watching for:
Curry almost always does the same things against Yao - opens up overly-aggressive on offense, trying to get cheap fouls on Yao. Midway through the first, Curry ends up so out of breath and energy that he has to come out, and is a ghost the rest of the way. Yao crushes Curry in the final 3 quarters.

Marbury will try to abuse us one-on-one, getting to the line but will increasingly neglect his teammates and whatever gameplan Isiah (read: assistant coach Phil Ford) comes up with.

Rockets ball movement being the absolute undoing of a Knicks defense that has no intellegence or guts. Watch for poor switching, rotations, and perimeter defense.

    Rockets 93, Nix 85
