    Love seeing Dallas down there

I think we are ranked a little too low. Behind Indiana, Portland and Atlanta...?

Just because they got some wins doesn't mean they should go soaring through the rankings.

Don't flame me saying wow its just power rankings, no one cares. im just posting them because they updated today.

We will end up 3rd in the western conference. Portland will be last in the conference. Atlanta will be third to last in the East.

That's all you need to know

this is ridiculous... 76'ers lost 2 straight games and they move up in the rankings from 22 to 10? just goes to show you... these things are just for novelty.

Actually, i kind of like other teams think light of us, as long as we keep picking up Ws, :)

They must hate the Mavs too. Suns have a similar record as the Mavs at 1-4, and yet they're ranked at 13 ahead of us.

Interesting...but we'll see how they look after a few weeks. As long as Houston is hovering around the 10-15 range, I'm good. I kinda dig people underestimating the Rockets.

Speaking of Philly, AI is looking tremendous early. I sure hope Billy has earned some minutes by the time we play them because Rafer can't even slow Iverson down.

I'm getting sick of hear all the nat. media talk about Bynum as if he's the 2nd coming of Shaq! Kids had a few good games and now they all want to erect statues to the kid

Phoenix at #13 despite a 1-4 start (and looking every bit the part) seems more than mildly off.

The rankings will get better as things sort themselves out over the course of the month.

I think teams and coaches are getting used to phoenix's style of play and preparing defensively for it. it's proving ineffective as of late.

T-Mac and the Rockets will be Top 5ive next week where McGrady belongs.

This really means nothing, but is entertainment. I care more about what opposing teams and coaches think of us, than some writer.

The win against Dallas looks good, but they are 0-4, so bid deal. (It did feel good to humiliate them, though) The win against Memphis was rather grizzly, and if Milwaukee had gone one more minute, even JVG said we'd have lost. The good thing from that was that TMac was back, at least for 3 quarters.

The only comforting thing is who we LOST to. Utah and NO are 1 and 3 in the rankings ...

That should put us a little higher, IMHO. But, I love being underdogs ...

it's called defense. Phoenix should try it out every once in awhile.

Interesting how the Rocket's only two losses are from Hornets (ranked #1) and Jazz (ranked #3), and yet Rockets are ranked #15

These rankings make about as much sense as the BCS

every discussion of power rankings eventually devolves into how stupid power rankings are. And yet as inane as power rankings inherently are, this one is probably the worst I've ever seen.
