    Haha. Hey! :(

I remember there used to be a cabinet under our bathroom sink that I would crawl into and shut the door while I listened to Gene. It was neat trying to picture the game in the dark beneath plumbing. :)

Of course my parents knew what was going on, but they let me be r****ded. I remember if they asked me anything I would have to stick my head out of the cabinet to answer or sound like I was in a sealed cave. One time I forgot to stick my head out and just blurted out an answer and my mom just laughed and said you're supposed to sit on the toilet, not stick your head in it... I knew I was busted.

Hi, I was raised in Houston.
Lived my childhood days there and then moved to
    Guadalajara Mexico.
I'm a die hard Rockets fan.
I root for all of Houston's professional teams.

People here in Mexico don't understand why I root for the Rockets.
There are mostly Laker and Bulls fans here.

Nothing too exciting: I live in Houston now. But, I should point out that I'm half French and half Texan. Plus, my handle has a definite Latin-American flair!

tix start @ A$30 (~us$18) + booking fee, then goto A$50. "good" seats are A$150 (~us$90). no courtside or vip tix available for the public.

It seems like everyone who posts here is either a medico or a computer person, or studying to be them. PROOVES Rox fans are more intelligent then most :D

Became a Rockets' fan when China Central TV broadcasted
93-94 finals. NBA is aired through China Central TV and almost
local cables nowadays. We have a great amounts of NBA and
Rockets fans on the other side of the earth.

    Now living in NJ.

Yea, sorta guessed that it would be about $30, booking fee we can avoid paying if we go through ticketcharge right? I'm headed to the MSAC this Sat to try and catch a glimpse of the training session and hopefully a few snap shots. Interested in meeting up there?

Wow. Jeff, I agree with you. What an excellent thread; kudos to tycoonchip.

    DoD,
    D*mn thats funny!

    HayesStreet,
When were you in CLear Lake? I am from there also. Jeff, do I recall correctly that you hail from there also?
We were in England and Scotland one year during the playoffs. I kicked myself for being so stupid with our scheduling. Some brits told me to check Sky sports, but we didn't find any games.
