IT would have been nice to see Novak get some playing time when the Rockets were up 24 points!!! He could not have been any worse than the other bench players who let the lead slip away. I mean Novaks grade school sang the national anthem, there were a couple thoasands fans there to see him in his only appearance in Milwaukee this season. Would it have killed JVG to let the kid play for 2 freaking minutes with a 24 point lead? I'm just pissed I wasted $200 on tickets to see my alma maters 3 point king ride the bench when the game was a blow out.

    Macfan,

I am not overly hard on Juwan. If I was, I would have bought or made a Juwan Howard effigy long time ago and done voodoo stuff with a million needles all over it by now....

I have a "Juwan Howard Effigy" saved up on my search list for ebay. As soon as it shows up, I am gonna buy it. Dont anyone of you get it first!

The amount of gurbaaage Juwan brings on the court is downright nasty!

 what are you smoking? Stop telling everyone to send their rants/complaints/comments to the Rockets and being a troll in general

Good call, Novak is most def not ready.Novak does Zero when his shot isnt hitting.Hopefully he can develop a more balanced game on both ends.

People who question Novaks defense, should understand he is a good defensive player. not great, but a millon times better then howard.

What's funny is, only Tmac, Luther and Rafer shot 3's tonight. They combined to shoot 8-16. All three can be hot or cold, tonight they shot it well. Battier and Padgett are a little more consistent from 3. With T-Mac it's all about rhythm. If he's missing 3's, he's most likely missing 2's as well. With him it's not about 3 point range, his range is unlimited. With Tmac, it's about whether he is in a rhythm and feeling it. If he mixes it up early in the game driving to the hoop, playing defense, his overall game picks up and he can make shots from half court if he wants to.

So what? Hayes defends, prevent other team from scoring. JHO doesn't. Rox have enough fire power with Tmac and Yao on the court. Hayes's offensive rebounding also contributed to our offense.

From 82games.com, per 100 possessions, rockets gave away 129.1 points when Jho is on the court while scored 111.9 points; When hayes on the court, Rox gave away 90.4 points while scored 107.5 points. 30 points difference on defense and only 5 points difference on offense. Go figure.

JVG just doesn't trust rookies. He's basically say Novak isn't good enough to play even if we have a 24 point lead and even if he's the best shooter on the team.

more like 10 seconds, secondly, proves you know absolutely nothing about rockets or their players. And as someone else said, we wont be needing rafer to hit clutch shots, if you recall we do happen to have 2 super stars on our team, one of them who has scored 13 points in 33 seconds....

When we were up 23points, JVG still had an iron heart towards Novak and the many fans & folllowers who came to see their hero play! How must Novak feel?
His father and High School Coach on the front awaiting to see how his protege
had progressed, now that he was in the NBA. Our best three point shooter should not have to go through such emarassing moments again! :p

He's a terrible rebounder, if he gets the ball with someone on him he is totally inept when putting the ball on the floor. He's not a good passer. His shooting is a great asset to the team, but there are certain games where he just shouldn't be on the floor right now.

Damn. You would think we lost the game. Last time I checked, it was under the W column. I'll take it.

To be fair, Yao did try to take it inside but got hammered by Bucks defenders. He ajusted nicely to start off the 2nd half by switching to "outside" turnaround/fadeaway jumpers, which worked very well for the entire 3rd quarter.

The refs were simply horrible on Yao. There are no other words to express it.

I have to clarify. I was explaining why Juwan got more playing time than Hayes last year. Obviously, this year with Tmac and Yao we have enough fire power on offense, but last year we did not.
I do not like Howard. I can just understand why he got more playing time than Hayes LAST SEASON.

He's a sick b*stard, I bet he felt like the bigger man out there with Novak and Kill Bill sitting on the bench.

Right now it's all about matchups with Novak. So it will really depend on who we play and I can bet you that JVG knows when he's gonna play against certain teams and when he's not before the game even starts.
