What puzzles me is that why Yao does not try to mix it up a bit, he has taken and missed like 10 straight baseline jumper in a roll in 4th quarter.

Good stuff,Like how Yao, Rafer and Tmac worked off eachother to create a decent looking shot selection. They are starting to learn how to play with eachother. I like how well Rafer managed the shot distribution between Mac Yao and others.Gotta give him some cred to balance out the negativity.

For all you people crying for Juwan Howard, notice that Milwaukee made their huge run when Howard was in the game. Howard's plus-minus was -24 going into this game and it will drop dramatically. He's absolutely killing us. His defense is pathetic and his rebounding is non-existant, at times. I can't believe Daryl Morey hasn't sat down with JVG and pointed this out. After having the worst plus-minus on the Rockets last year, he's gotten even worse. I hope Bonzi will quit pouting and get in shape. That will lessen JHo's minutes. I also hope Grumpy will let Novak play a few minutes a night and get his mistakes out of the way so he can be a help in the playoffs. I also hope Grumpy will let VSpan play a few minutes because Luther is a disaster at the point. How much will it really kill us to let Vspan or Novak play 10 a night?

Very true. Our starters were fatigued, playing 4 games in five nights will do that.

We are talking about missing 7 JUMPERS and grabbing only 1 rebound in 4th Q,

    Apologists, try next time.

2 consecutive ugly wins are actually very encouraging sign. Bad teams only get very exciting and fun wins, the only problem is they only get a few wins. Good teams on the other hand, get lots of wins, some are beautiful but some are aweful. However, they will always figure out a way to win ugly games, even they do lots of things wrong in those games.

Last year's Rockets would surely lose at least one of those 2 games. We are heading at the right direction. This team is improved, especially in talent and depth. I can't understand all the whinning around here. It's the beginning of a new season with lots of new guys, 2 main guys came back from injuries. 4th game at 5th night. They won, never really had the danger to lose this game. WTF do people want?

Really?!?! Then why did Juwan play all those minutes last year when Hayes was rotting on the bench? or Ryan Bowen for that matter.

That was hell of a way for those 2 to be helping out winning games.

    Keep trying....

This is the NBA my friend, you earn your time in this league. Playing Novak would be unfair to the rest of his teammates, his professionalism, his learning curve, and most importantly, it wouldn't be unfair to him. "Oh, I'm going back home, I'll definitely get PT now, I don't have to work hard or be in the right spot, blah blah blah." This is no knock on Novak, he's a great player and a steal of a 2nd rounder, but he's not ready yet. Let him bulk up more and be more of a factor on defense, and he'll be playing major pt, not just at Milwaukee. Larry Brown took a lot of heat for starting his guys last year in NY whenever they returned to their home cities. It was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen/heard of.

I agree. JVG just doesn't trust the rookies. Novak is McGrady's paxson and Kill Bill is our defensive energizer bunny.

This team is 3-2 and has had a tough schedule through the first 5 games. They weren't even favored to win tonight against an improved Milwaukee team! The Rockets will only get better as the players get back to form and Bonzi gets back into game shape.

Juwan is a cancer. When he is one, the other team starts pulling away. It has been proven in over and over and over in his career.

What makes anyone think it will change now???
