I used to read the board with it was clutchcity.com (anybody still remember those days of primitive web feature, before Jeff was a mod and Les was gonna move the team?) and I was still hitting puberty... maybe just a little too much information there. Then they require registration to read the board and I stopped (was paranoid about signing up for things on the interweb at the time). Then when Rockets got the first pick, well it brought me back to the board (cuz I was reading the draft boards and saw a chinese guy, from Shangahi of all places was projected to be a first pick, which Houston has).

ROFL...I was wondering why a 'Tmac wedding photos' thread would appear in D&D. Then I read the posts of Mr. TheHangover... just amazing. The guy talks like he wants to sweep all Asians out of America. Unbelievable.

Why does it matter to you whether he is Asian or not? What does it matter to you that there are Asian Rockets fans?

What a stupid thing to be upset with. I would be willing to bet there are very few who care one way or the other about that.

C'mon, its not like all the white fans that joined when larry legend was in the league was considered a bad thing. Sure, some ignorant people complained but they were silenced after a few years of change. Basketball isn't like the old country clubs that excludes blacks and women, it's a public course.

It was actually a joke making fun of how stupid some people (one in particular) in this thread are.

    Stay with me, Deckard.

What about us ethnic Chinese, who were born and raised in Houston and Rox fans since the days of Ralph Sampson?

You were merely paving the road to bring one of your secret agents into the NBA and take over the Rockets franchise. You cloned Yao Ming, then brainwashed him to serve the interests of the Communist nation. Now, look around you, the Rockets' new logo looks like a Chinese character, the Toyota Center is full of ads/products by Chinese brands, and Battier has been recruited as a double-agent.

    Just admit it, Sishir...

Now if only I could figure out how to clone a Pakistani basketball player....that would really take the world by storm.

I apologize for actually commenting about the actual thread subject, but was that Steve Francis shaving McGrady's head??

I would have said 1776, just cuz I don't see a lot of Sandwich Shoppes or colour copiers stateside. It does also unwittingly remind us that we are all genealogically from somewhere else.
