I am looking for FREE softwares for:

    1)Anti-Spyware
    2)Anti-Adware
    3)AntiVirus

What are some good ones out there? By FREE I mean not just free scan but also free cleanup.

What combinations of programs works the best?

Well, seeing how no one has posted yet, I suppose I could start.

Windows Defender For detection and removal of threats posed by spyware and other potentially unwanted software (with real-time protection and automatic updates), the final release canidate is out and about.

*Ahem* And for anyone having issues with WGA, here's an easy bypass. By the way, the solution only works with msi type files (like Windows Defender).

AVG is discontinuing its support for 7.1 in January, not killing the free version altogether, which is now version 7.5

They're going to make you pay for weak software? Well, that sucks. :D

For Antivirus software, go with any of the following :

Norton Antivirus (still among the best detection engines although it's bloatware)
    Kaspersky AV
    Eset NOD
F-Prot (although it has issues with ZoneAlarm)

For spyware you can use the following :

    Adaware
    SpywareBlaster
    SpySweeper
Windows Defender (like Dark Rhino said - I forgot this one)

    Just keep the stuff updated.

Zboy -- I have links to what are (IMO) the best anti-spyware programs in my sig.

For AV, I am big on Kaspersky . . . the "Internet Security" suite is really nice.

    Zonealarm is the best

No need for antivirus since it will make you computer super slow.

Microsoft defender is the BEST out there, trust me...too bad I can't install it.

I've had people with MAJOR issues with Norton
They cannot get out to the internet AT ALL
until I remove it. They install it using the default setting

I'm not a big fan of Norton at all
