    How did the Soviet Hockey team ("CCCP") get so good so fast?

    I'm just curious.

    unless they join the euroleague i can't see that as being feasible. rupert murdoch is always looking to add more content for his Star tv network. an international club competition based in australia (already have teams based in new zealand and sinapore involved) looks like a future he could bankroll.

    No, they would bring everyone else but Yao for their A team and train in Europe. The B team would play in Asian competitions and Chinese national league.

    As opposed to the big guys, China's guards have still a lot to learn.
