Doing somethig different this time, yall let me know what you think, Some people out of town may get to see the game thru other ways, and not need or want to download the entire game...but might be interested in the Pre and Post game shows...since they are extended segments devoted to just Rockets talk and interviews. So I seperated them from the main game video. This has an extra benefit that the game gets more bitrate devoted to it.(ie...better quality, same file size) Let me know if this is a good idea or not.. Rox v Hornets Pregame and Postgame shows Rox v Hornets full game torrent Rox v Hornets clip vid REMINDERS: 1) As most of you know, the videos are encoded with the xvid codec and are being made available using the bittorrent p2p protocol, so if you arent sure what that means, check this FAQ written by droxford for help or post here if you still have trouble. Dont forget the need to seed...seeding is so important to bittorrent working right. 2) if you download via a yousendit link....you really need to re-upload to yousendit and post the link here...it is most uncool to leech that and not return the favor...those links are only good for 25 downloads apiece. 3) if you are trying to play it on Windows Media Player, Quicktime, or RealPlayer and it still wont play after you install the xvid codec ..I would recommend using: Media Player Classic BS player(scroll down to get free BS Player) VLC Player 4) the Need To Feed the Tipjar (See my sig) is a ever-present need...if this server doesnt receive support, you never know when one day it might go away...and then where would you be? Clutch cant do everything for us...lets give the man a hand. one last thing.....I will always have my seed running until the next game...so even if your client is not showing a seed...rest assured that is wrong...mine is running and will be until the next game...thats how I always do it. That is an awesome idea to split the pre/post game show from the full game. It's definitely a good thing to have a choice of watching either or. That way you don't download any more than you're looking for.

Great idea R2K... I was just thinking yesterday that the inclusion of the pre and post game shows degrade the quality of the game (since it's fit to a 700MB CD). Excellent idea to split it up, now everyone gets what they want, and with better quality!

Excellent idea, love the fact that the quality of the game footage is increased. Would be happy if the games were published this way all the time. Thanks again R2K!!
That's a good idea, and thanks for the prompt uploads! Just one thing - can someone who's watched the pre/post game shows give a recap of anything important that was mentioned in it? I.e. without the blabber and small talk between Bill and Clyde
nice work, good idea to save bitrate for main game. and you can decrease audio bit too, like a 700mb game, you can just set audio to 32kbps
and just a suggestion, i don't know how you cap the game, do you create mpeg2 files then compress? I recommand mp4(h264) format, here is some screenshot of the game i recorded. it's from Rockets vs Jazz. size is 700mb full game.
and one more thing, R2K, let me know if you could not cap one of those games, i can back it up. I got NBA league pass and i am able cap all the rocket games. (sorry for the 3rd post, i could keep in one, but seems that i cannot edit now)
