ALRIGHT I just thought of an idea dont know what Yall think maybe we can stickie this thread and keep on updating great stats of each game so that by the end of the season we have a list of all the impressive stats stats can be individual or team, and when it is surpassed in another game, we replace the original one with the new one so for today the stats that really impressed me were: Yao -12/12 FT% + 36 points vs 5 points from Mavs' starting + backup center Team Steals: 13-1 add on any stats you find most impressive
'06-'07 Rockets 1-0 when Juwan Howard plays. 0-1 when he does not. Where is the ovation for my man Juwan. That, and a Rockets steal+block/TO ratio of 18-13, compared to Mavs 4-22. Rafer's stat line alone carries this game even if Yao hadn't gone off.
Rafer 12 Ast 0 TO come on y'all, told y'all Rafer is ok. you cant ask more than that alone from ur PG
Yes rafer finally executed his plays and there was chemistry today..and on defense he was actually making great steals and very aggressive..hopefully he keeps this up ..i think the fans helped out because they were so loud
The 12/0 is great, but it's the 4 steals and 4 treys that are (still) giving me a basketball hard-on Not to mention Jason Terry's line: 1 point, 0-5, 3 TO
Forget about the 12 assists and zero turnovers. Rafer Alston held Jason Terry to 1 point tonight. ONE POINT. 0-5 shooting. I never thought he had it in him.
Alston played a great game to-night! It looks like all that effort he made in the offseason might be paying off! This is the first time I have seen him play with such determination to be a winner! If he keeps on playing at this level we can still win even if we have an injury to contend with. Bonzi looked a little heavy to say the least but it was good to see him take to the court.
- A 7'6" center shot all the technicals, making all. I bet you don't see that from any other team, not just in the NBA, but in the entire world. - TMac smiled from the bench like a baby, cheering happily for his teammates. - Rafer showed flashes of Skip-to-My-Lou. - Head regained his shooting touch, and most importantly, his confidence. Well, not exactly stats, but wth.
I was at the game ... one time after Rafer made an amazing pass to Luther Head for a layup, he had the biggest grin on his face as he jogged back up the court. Assists are like three pointers for him -- you could tell how much he was enjoying himself having so many weapons around him to pass to. I looked up at the board - that was his 12th assist.
Yeah, a big win! Everything is excellent except rebounding. Mavs do not have tough rebounders. However, what Rox could do if the rival was Jazz or Bulls or Pistons or ... The fact is Mutombo has not been good enough to be the bench for Yao. We need another center as a rebounding expert!!!!!
gotta give it up to the Skip to my lou pass. too bad chuck missed the easy layup. dude that would be in the top 10 plays of assist of the year!!!!!
