People think that a young coach like Elie could spark a fire in this team. He's a hometown favorite and people would like to seem him come back to the rockets. Many think he would be able to do for the rockets what Avery johnson did for the Mavs

It is. i'm asking for this possibility.
I can't see getting Wade and not using him as a starter. Or maybe you're refering to another point of the post.

Or I don't know, apart from being younger, isn't Tmac and Wade both established as good players? What's the difference if one is better in some areas, you have what you have and maybe getting someone else they wont mix with the team right away.

It's just puzzles me that there was such a reference. Why Wade and not someone else? Dunno, like a good point guard.

I didn't say he did think that, it is a question after all I made, not a statement. I'm asking you guys here if he did think like that and I think it's clear I do.

I don't see why you're getting defensive, recieving it like I said something like "fire Gundy he's an idiot", "Gundy doesn't trust the players, he should go!!!" or something of that sort. Please don't underestimate my inteligence or politeness that way.

I don't know the team and I'm trying to learn it.

When I read it, I thought he was jokingly saying that he would be willing to change the roster to get the supposedly best player in the league, or at least the MVP of the Finals. Behind the joke, he really meant that he would upgrade the roster if he got the chance. I don't think he meant anything about T-Mac. D-Wade could play at the two and T-Mac at the three, in this impossible joke scenario; don't read too much into it. He just meant that he is ready to upgrade the roster is a major talent is available.

So Wade is considered the best or of the best players in the league then?
Makes some more sense now. I didn't follow last years finals unfortunatelly. Or the year before that. Then again he did play for TeamUSA, but I thought they picked the best of the new generation for that, not always the best in their position.

Like I said in one of my first posts here(that of course you guys weren't required to know to reply to me), it's been a few years I didn't have much interest in the NBA. Spanoulis being here and also Yao and Battier got me interested again. It's interesting to me to be actually able to see how the team stuff thinks about issues regarding the team.

We don't have that in Greece. Team owners don't allow it.

look at the playoff videos from the dallas houston series and tell me honestly, would you trade that tmac for any player is in the game straight up. i wouldnt he has the fire and he can always elevate his level. tmac is number 1.

It would be hard to argue trading that Tmac. And if that Tmac returns to form than who could not be pleased. But in reality we haven't seen that Tmac since that series against Dallas.

I agree. I miss that tmac. But give him time, remember how slow he started his first season here. THis time its a little different because he just came out of a huge injury. He is yet to be in midseason form let alone playoff form. But he'll be back to normal.
