Ok, I am late to this thread and I'm sure most folks willing to share have already hooked up like Stevie and Mobley. I'm willing to share with someone (I get the TV portion....I stare at a CPU long enough at work as it is). Hit me at kingmalaki@hotmail.com.

Are most folks having success with their League Pass? I just got a box from Time Warner just go order this damn thing, and will be pretty pissed if it doesn't work.

You can check channels 601-609 (NBA League Pass free trial is going on now) on your box and if it allows you to view then you should be good to go. No games tonight but Friday you should get a good idea of how things are working on your box since the free preview last into next week I think.

I'm getting free league pass preview on Dish and loving it!

Can't wait to watch Rockets Mavs on Saturday.

Check channel 101. It should be free without even getting the NBA League Pass.

    Hi,

My name is Ambrose Wong. I am a fellow clutchfans. I am currently considering subscribving for NBA League Pass. I have read on the thread that many of you guys are interested in getting the broadband side of the NBA league pass. However, as crazy as I am with the rockets, I am quite poor. I don't want to sign up unless somebody is committed to help sharing for the service. Right now I have to pay 179 for the package, but since i only have regular cable, I have to pay an additionaly 30 dollars a month to upgrade to digital service! (what a rip-off)

Just a little about myself so that you guys can trust me. I am a college student at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. I am into the third year of my Business Admin. degree. I think paypal would be a good solution for payment. My paypal account is this email address. ambrose86@gmail.com. I am verified even though I don't have much transaction. But I am more than willing to communicate with you on the phone before anything is decided.

I am looking for someone to pay me 79bucks for the broadband part. I think only one person can access it at a time, so if more than one people want to get this clear streaming service, then the highest bidder gets it. If it doesn't work out, I promise a full refund. I think blackouts will be available to maybe cleveland games??? not sure, dunno how tat stupid things work. I'm thinking probably no games will be blacked out though, since I cannot watch any cleveland games on cable.

So anyone interested, please reply me and tell me your location and more information and stuff. I'm willing to first get the tv part and test if it works before having you pay me and of cuz with the promise you'll help me ease my load once i have proven it'll work.

Looking forward to my life with NBA league pass!!!!!!!! :)

Hey you NBA LP subscribers out there, I just tested the LP Broadband.

There is no live game for tonight, but I am able to watch the archived games from last night. The video/audio quality is pretty darn good. I entered my Dish Network account info on the same web page sereral times earlier tonight. It still wasn't working then but apparently it is now!

    Woo hoo!

I got that same message about things will be fixed for tonights games blah blah blah but I am still not able to log-in to the list of games available for tonight or even the games that are showing in the achived section. At least they acknowledge they are currently making some progress towards fixing a problem so that is a step in the right direction I guess:)

You may want to contact their support team via this: http://secure.broadband.nba.com/cc/support.php

I complained bitterly to them the other night using the above form. Things got straightened out for me late Thursday night and it's been problem-free. FYI, I didn't bother to fax my LP subscription statement to NBA nor did I mention my account number in the angry email since I figured they sure have a way to verify if they want to.

I can't believe I just found this thread now. DD, was it that you were referring to when you said you need me to test your slingbox? I didn't really know what you were talking about... I tried to e-mail you through the board, but I don't know if that worked because I didn't get a reply.

So the 179 bucks is for a whole season?

Guys, I am willing to pay at least 100 of the 179 to a trustworthy poster if you let me share the broadband feature...since I am based in Germany, I cannot buy the cable or dish network stuff, so this is the only way for me to subscribe the service, through someone who is a subscriber.

Feel free to contact me at rockets2000@lycos.de...

    Thanks.

    Hey WNES

I emailed them as well and I am waiting. How did it work for you? You type your account number and it logged you in? Or did they send you a direct link?

    Thanks

I just got mine working. I don't know if it helped but I changed the address on my nba.com account to the one I have on my cable account.

Well, first of all, are you able to log into this page, http://www.nba.com/broadband/league_pass.jsp?

If so, then you should see a couple of lists on that page, games scheduled for tonight and archived games from last night. Click on any of those hyperlinked games. A window will then be popped up.

In my case, since my Dish Network account was verified, I will be able to view the game in a few seconds once the buffering of video/audio feed is sufficiently satisfied.

In your case, which I assume would be similar to my situation prior to their repeated failures to verify my Dish Network account number, you will be asked to select a LP tv provider and enter your account info in the same window. Note on their FAQ page, if you are a DirectTV customer, you need to enter your DirectTV user ID, not the account number.

I have no idea what prompted them to process mine but not yours. As I said, I didn't go through the fax routine. I didn't email them via the regular way, only through their customer support page: http://secure.broadband.nba.com/cc/support.php.

I also talked to Dish Network the other night (see one of my earlier posts in this thread). I kind doubt it had any effect though.

Hope this clarifies a few things. I too would be as pissed as you guys if mine weren't working now.

    Good luck.

I updated the NBA.com information to match the cable account information, unfortunately it still did not register with the Broadband League Pass. Seems Dish Network is the only one that's gotten through so far  ?

For people wanting to watch the Broadband League Pass part and need to share with a TV League Pass subscriber I CAN'T guarantee it will happen for you, but you can shoot an email to
    comegys@hotmail.com
to inquire about it. Need to work out the kinks first, see how secure the sharing is and if could allow more than one stream (doubtful), but probably to just one more person if it could.

Anyone here have NBA LP from DirecTV having a problem getting your info verified, it keeps saying my DTV.com username login is inaccurate.
