The real problem was the Mo Taylor for Novak trade. Mo would have roughed Boozer up like Novak could not do.

I never liked the Battier for Gay trade...really hated it actually - why trade an impact rookie like Gay away for a "glue guy"....but that's water under the bridge now.

Battier is a good player...although we didn't get the best end of the deal (well, we got shafted)....life is life.

Actually there are SOME good points about the Rudy Gay for Shane Batier trade.. Hey I lost a ton of weight by throwing up!!! And I refuse to watch basketball atleast for a bit so it saves electricity...(I figure the new administration may be more palatable.) And when Rudy Gay is a super star for years to come and they realize it was The Rockets who Made the trade by asking for a Role player ... they will Know that CHARITY is still alive ... and I think thats SWEET. I figure it is only a matter of time before the media gets on the band wagon and tells the gm how sweet and Magnanimous their gesture of giving to Memphis was.

I was referring to your loss to the Knicks.

He had a bad game. Well for the entire 1st three quarters the team was playing horribly. Mike Fratello took him out of the post and had him at the 3pt line for some reason.

We have a horrible offensive scheme with Mike Fratello.

Rudy Gay- 2 fouls and 2 points in 14 minutes on 0-4 shooting and two freethrows. Rookie inconsistency like this is expected. On a side note, I didn't Mike Miller can play... Also Adam Morrison looks to be a pure scorer for the Bobcats. They were leading into the fourth, but looks like Morrison's lack of rebounding and other facets helped skinned the Cats.

Funny how after one game people were declaring him as the second coming. Now after a 2/0/0 game, it's "He had a bad game."

Ironically, while Gay played poorly with little PT, the team won. And while Gay played a lot and scored tons of points, they lost. Hmm. . . I thought somebody in this thread said Gay was an "impact player." Quite an impact on the W/L column. :)

Mo Taylor was a total bust... I wonder... What do Mo Taylor and Stomile Swift have in common (aside from being a waste of money)?

with Yao and Tmac, do you think this kid can still get 21 shots?

moreover his early stats was 4/13

if Gasol was on the floor, he would get benched immediately.

Dahntay Jones happened to Morrison. He bodied up on him and got physical and that was the end of Morrison. He did not score another point the rest of the game.

Mem's trust Warrick much more than they do for Gay! Gay IS a BALLHOG! He's not even a star and he shoots an avg 15 shots per game and don't make much! And you see, when he only take 4shots, he doesn't make any... sad fact...

So for those of you who even bothered to judge Gay > Battier based on 1 single game..... Man have some sense!!

Battier is way more valuable to us than Gay!!! NO DOUBT 100%. He is an intangible! As simple~! Remember someone in Spurs named BOWEN? How much does he score per game!? <10! And most his pts from 3s too - from the corner spots! And did Spurs win a championship? I thought they're still hot! I wonder why Greg Pop never take Bowen out of the starting lineup...... My point is: be thankful that we got Battier!!!

We need to use Howard to back him up though, I strongly believe it'll work out!

Our next 10 games: 7wins guys!

    WORD

We dont need another guy who takes 15 shots to be effective on our team

we need a guy who can support the two guys that take most of the shots on out team
