Boki is what he is: a NBA bench player who can contribute on a mediocre team but may have trouble getting into the game on an elite team.

I have faith he will follow this up with his customary 0 point performance!

    The man is consistently inconsistent.

    NACHBAR CHIPS IN OFF BENCH
    By FRED KERBER
    November 2, 2006 --

    NET NOTES

After he was acquired in a trade last season, Bostjan Nachbar had a near permanent view of games from the bench. The very end of the bench. He played in 11 games, totaled 97 minutes and 31 points for the Nets. Useful, huh? But that should change. Witness last night.

Nachbar, whose versatility has made him an appealing bench choice for coach Lawrence Frank, had 14 points, played power forward in a small lineup and, more importantly, was on the court in the fourth quarter of the Nets' 102-92 win over Toronto.

"I was ready. I was expecting it. I knew they liked to play small," said Nachbar, who went baseline for a Jason Kidd pass and dunked to put the Nets up 91-78 with 6:33 left. "The play before he said, 'if your guy helps on me, just cut' and that's what I did. That's why I say he's the best. He's phenomenal."

Sounds awfully good description of a player we have.

    Rafer Alston.

Difference is that Boki comes off the bench while Rafer gets to start alongside Tmac and Yao.

Who said streetball doesnt pay off??

Boki is a valuable sub, looks like he has found his confidence.

Shooting .467 for the season, and 50% on 2 pointers.

So, Sam........what was that bet again?

Ah, man.....tired of getting your bottom handed to you?

    :D

Boki is getting it done, the stats don't lie

    GO BOKI !!

He had a good game a few days ago - his PT had declined steadily and Hassan Adams took most of his minutes while he had reverted back to mediocre form until Richard Jefferson got injured. Since then he has played well to his credit; it remains to be seen whether he will continue like in 05 or regress like in 06.

Too bad Nachbar played his way back on to the bench...certain aspects of his game (particularly his last regular appearance v. Phx last week) remind me of that of a young Don Meineke
