Its gonna take a while to get the lineup and rotation and chemistry going. You can see that this team has enough talent and the right players, we just need to figure out roles and combinations. We just looked totally out of sync and disorganized tonite on both ends. I think JVG needs to take some blame for this one. It didnt look like we had a plan offensively at all.

I actually don't think our defense was HORRIBLE...I thought the referees bailed both teams out far too often....

But at least they were consistent. If both teams did not get all those free throws and it was called like a normal NBA game, both teams would have struggled to score 100.

Same problems as always. Poor, poor perimeter defense and poor shooting = loss. We could of won this game dipite Boozers game if we could of hit our free throws and would have stop half of the penetration of their guards.

I don't understand why Padgett was out there so long with the line up of Battier, Tmac, Yao and Rafer. You might as well have Novak out here with that line up. Actually that was the perfect time to bring in Howard off the bench at that point.

That stat is inexcusable Skip shouldnt shoot half the shots that Yao takes. JVG should go Hoosiers style and tell skip he can only shoot once for every four shots that Yao takes. Same rule for TMAC one shot for every 2 from Yao, unless it is a drive to the cup

This will be funny later on in the season when the Jazz miss the playoffs and crash and burn just like in 2005.

That would be because he wasn't given the ball at all in the 4th qtr.

Seriously, this Rockets team ain't going anywhere unless Yao gets 17 shots a game. Of course he won't cuz no one will pass to him and then people will wonder why Yao has 'regressed' as canoner2002 and others are already doing.

I think the Rockets played terrible for 3 1/2 quarters tonight while the Jazz played pretty good the entire game. I hope they can get their schtuff together soon...

they call a lot of weak fouls on him. He is that aggressive when he gets in foul trouble, so he goes straight up and floppers like Boozer jump into him. The refs call it every time. It's bs.

    everyone played piss poor

yao cant rebound, tmac cant shoot, rafer just sucks, we have no power forward

at least put chuck hayes in so he can rebound a little..

what happened to the the smooth flowing pre-season offense?

I agree with this, but I was REALLY dissappointed in how the team fell apart after getting it to 5 points....the panicked, and quit playing together....

Should have gone into Yao....and played inside out...instead, Tmac and Rafer, and Synder forced it.....but at least Synder forced it by going TO THE WHOLE !!! Are you listening TMac????????

In games where the refs call a lot of fouls....TAKE IT TO THE HOLE !!!

Well T-Mac shooting jumpers is a little better than his driving to the rack and flaring up his back again.

Then again, I thought he had an instoppable fadeaway jumper. Awwwww@! SO frustrating.

At least it wasn't on our home floor.

Try again? Against the Mavs? Whoo toughie.

Should we start to think "tank the season" now?

All of the talk in the off season from Yao and T-Mac are BS!

T-MAC "oh, I have no problem defering to Yao and I'd be glad to give him the ball"

Yao- "For the new season,I'm dertermined to be more offensive minded and demand the ball more"

    F**K you both!!!

It's not a bad game whatsoever.

Remember we got a beautiful win in the season opener last year? the opener doesn't really mean much, and a loss will reveal every question of the team.

    Go ROX GO!
