I'm guessing that we're in for some more whining about the ball from Shaq tonight. Nevermind the fact that they're playing like ass out there.

Well, he is guarded by the only player who can constantly make Wade his b**** since Wade's final game in college. Is that a surprise to you?

What is the Heat's motivation...........lots of veteran players with at least a championship in some with Multiple championships...shaq.

They don't appear motivated. I think they will be on cruise control until april and may and then they will start.............

    azz reaming the competition

    nahhh....they just suck :D

I think this Bulls team easily tops 50 wins this season, probably mid-50s in the win column.

As for their defense, it's what makes them 'legit' in my book. They can score and have enough talent on offense, but what makes me respect them is their defensive intensity...probably will be the best defensive team in the league this year.

Are the defending Champs going to kill all the rookies in one game?

This Thabo Sefalosa looks decent. I might have to become a believer in the bulls.

Rockets were gonna draft him if the Battier deal didn't work out. He looks pretty good. Rockets scouting has improved recently. :D

Just about everything about this statement is an exaggeration. Shaq was near the basket, yes, and the putback was very nice but nothing earth shattering.

No kidding. As has been mentioned, he was allegedly the guy we would've taken if we didn't make the Battier trade.

Thabo looks like he could be a more explosive version of Diaw. He could become very, very good. Tyrus Thomas looked ok, but he's going to have to toughen up. Man, this Bulls team is deep.

The Bulls are my pick for the suprise team in the East. This is my pre-regular season pick despite them playing the Heat well tonight.

Side note: The Lakers are my suprise pick for the West. It's easy to say that the Rockets will be the 'suprise team', but no one will be shocked when we do well. We will just be living up to expectations.

This Bulls team is very talented and has a ton of young talent for the future. If they can retain all their young guys, they will be one of the top teams in the East for years to come.

The Bulls are going to be really good but not NBA Champs or even Finals representatives. This was ONE game. The Bulls weakness is what it has always been, NO low post scoring presence. They are still a perimeter team and don't have that one go to guy when you need a basket. Their low post defense is going to be very good and they will probably make it to the 2nd round but that's it for this year. Everyone is forgetting the Nets and Cavs and Pistons. It is a long season and Miami might not repeat but they will go further than the Bulls. What you do in May and June is what counts, not November.

Dont jump on Bulls bandwagon just yet. If you judge by this game alone, then you can by all means say the Rockets are gonna be #2 in the West by how they thumped Miami. They came out lethargic and unprepared. Don't write them off just yet. The Bulls were firing on all cylinders and the Heat left their keys at home.

Shaq is apathetic at the beginning of every season. He'll be tearing up stuff the next game.
