Wow, two all-stars for an all-star and a good starter. In this trade, you improved in defence, since Lebron isn't exactly a great defensive pressure, and if Artest can get to his 2004 form, his steals along with Duncan's blocks will do you nothing but good.
*sigh* reading comprehension...one area says "drafted" the other says "current" I have the one that says current...so I DO have lbj and I DO have diaw. and dude...I *traded* duncan and artest FOR lbj / howard (peja)
In my 14 teams league, here's my roster: PG Hinrich SG Macgrady G J. Smith G Ridnour SF Dunleavy PF Haslem F Carney F Sh. Williams C Yao BN Ford BN Alston BN Granger BN JR. Smith Since I had only one valide C and too many PGs with the same profile, I just traded Granger and Ford for Frye and R. Gomes. Still need help for my 3pt shooting though...
Thanks for the analysis, man. I am planning to move Davis for a serious 3 pt threat. I also have my eyes on Dalembert for more blocks to counter the Wallace guy.
Marbury McGrady D. HOward Lebron James Okur S. O'Neal Andre Miller Baron Davis Milicic Ginobili T. Prince Michael Redd 8-team league. Any idea what I should do?
I know Dirk is hated on this BBS, but he deserves a first round pick, and frankly, I'm surprised he lasted to 8th pick. Chauncey Billiups another good pick for a 14-team league, compliments Dirk for threes. Also, Brad miller, a player quite like Dirk, assists and threes abound in the first three rounds. Rip Hamilton I'm not so sure in the 4 round though, he's more of a shooter, players you should/could've gotten are Joe Johnson, Raymond Felton, Gerald Wallace (?) Shane Batter at round 5 is good, given it's would've been the 6th round in some leagues, and Ben Gordon is only, what, a third year player? He's the Bulls go to man (no, Wallace can't shoot) and gets threes, again compliments your three pointers immensely, but Luol Deng isn't that good for round 7, he can score and rebound, but not much else, particularly on defense. Zaza should provide rebounds, and steals, not much blocking though. Stephen Jackson is a nutcase, so expect him to miss some games here and there due to suspension, but he'll provide the steals and threes (again? man you love threes don't you?). PJ Brown won't be getting too much with Big Ben wallace's afro clouding the land, so expect a slight drop in numbers for him. Chuck Hayes? Ahh, the doom of homersim. He's a great hustler and good rebounder, I grant you that, but not much else. Way to high, he should be on the waiver line along with all the other Rocket rookies. Since Jeff Foster got blocked by Yao last season, I don't expect him to return from his injuries until 2009-2010 (lol, just kidding, Foster is a great rebounder but nothing else). Phew, time to take a paragraph. I'll pretend that you drafted Devin Harris instead of S. Jari#$@#%@# (can't spell his name). Harris is a nice option for steals and points, and even assists, with Jason Terry to be more of a shooting guard. Harris likes to drive the basket too, so his percentage should be in the high 40s as well. There's a reason why Kwame Brown lasted to the 189th pick, and that's because he's a freaking enigma. He's out with some injury of sorts, so sit him down, but when he comes back, give him a couple of games and then insert him at uitlity for his rebounds and blocks.
Hmm, I suggest putting T. Prince and Marbury together for a top tier point guard (Baron will go down at any moment). Three pointers? You should do fine with Redd, Okur, James, T-Mac and Manu. Blocks? Shaq, Howard and Okur Darko should do fine there. Steals....might want to improve there. Also, look at the waiver line and see if there are any waiver line pickups you might get.
Snagging Josh Smith, Yao, T-Mac and Hinrich is excellent for a 14 team league, very hard to do so. Ridnour is having a bumpy time, so don't settle for him yet, rotate him with Alston. You got nice value for Frye and Ryan Gomes, since the latter is a deep sleepr. By the way, who is Ford?
Thanks for the analysis. It's a head-to-head league, but I analyzed it as if it were Roto (more used to that). I lead the league in virtually every offensive category (except 3PT%), and am among the top in rebounds. I'm mediocre or worse in the defensive categories, however.

I haven't done one of these in a few years but I decided to sign up for a 12-team 13-player Yahoo Public league today and just got done drafting; here's my set up, I don't know what possessed me to pick Diaw other than an irrational fear I was going to get stuck with Chris Kaman as my starting center; I guess I also ended up with a huge amount of multi-positional players too so I'll rarely face a numbers crunch at any one spot: Round Pick Player Position 1. ok so this is my first post. been lurkin for around 4 years...and I just made an account earlier this year. but you dont need to know my life story 10 team 14 player draft (players listed in order of draft position) Elton Brand (8th overall pick) Pierce Joe Johnson Antawn Jamison Okur Morris Peterson Rafer Alston Ben Gordon Ricky Davis Tyson Chandler (i messed up here because i could of had Mike or Andre Miller) Luol Deng Nazr Mohammed Delonte West PJ Brown I am extremely happy with my Brand/Pierce/JJ/Jamison but after that I think I could of drafted better in the middle/late rounds.
