The Reverend Al Sharpton was recently released from a 90 day stint in a federal prison for trespassing in the U.S. Navy bombing range on the Puerto Rican island of Vieques. While in prison the Reverend endured a 90 day hunger strike and lost 30 pounds. Needless to say, when he got out, he was hungry! reporting live for CC.net News... rockHEAD Yahoo Link CNN link
Maybe I should try that, granted, 30 pounds is about 10 pounds more than I need to lose, but what's a nice diet.
90 days?!?!?!? i thought u could only survive 2 months without food, one week without water...........and i dont know about u guys, but if i went on a hunger strike id lose more like 50 pounds!
I don't think his hunger strike lasted 90 days. I think he started his strike in the middle of his term, for 42 days if I remember correctly.
