Not liking Carl Herrera is a sign that you might be gay.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Rodney McCray...

Only because we could have had Drexler instead

Barkley was the reason we got past Seattle in 1997

If you want someone to blame for our falilures in 97 and 98, it was Clyde who didn't care anymore and lost the focus, he sucked big time against the likes of Bryon Russell and Jeff Hornacek in the playoffs. Clyde was seldom blamed or bashed because of his gentle image.

Seven pages of posts and nobody remembers this classic quote:

"Half of the team disliked Rick Barry. The other half hated him."

    -Billy "The Whopper" Paultz

I daresay that the effect spilled out over the fan base as well. Can the folks in the stands have any better than a queasy feeling with a guy who whined on the court as much as he did?

And after his playing days had passed, who remembers his oil-and-water relationship with Bill Russell on TBS broadcasts?

And if the rumors are correct, JB and his other siblings hate Dad.

Matt Maloney, Mo Taylor, Moochie Norris, or Rod Strickland. Take your pick.

    Moochie...

I don't know why there are so many people would give the title to Stevie.
Maybe He would never be the player we wish him to be and maybe he does not play smart. But he was play so hard and gave us a few years of excitment that shows his heart and spirit to the team. ...

I very much disliked the Francis era. Not so much that I disliked Francis personally, but he was too often a team of one. Rudy has to take some of the responsibilty for this, but, for whatever reason, Francis thought he had to do it all, and that didn't work. For me, it was the toughest time to watch Rocket's basketball.

Very simply to me he was:

A goofy looking guy that did not really do much but got minutes with JVG for no reason.

I think he just overstayed his welcome because even though he could only get 2.2 points and 1.8 boards, JVG kept finding a way to stick him out there for 15-20 minutes a game when those minutes could have gone to a productive player. "HUSTLE" is a very overrated stat, you need it but if you dont have skill to go along with it, it means NOTHING

My most disliked Rocket of all time? Hmmm, if I have to pick someone I would have to say Steve Francis. I loved him to death but his ego later on made him an ass.

my least favorite rocket of all time HAS to be moochie norris post fro. Fro moochie was entertaining but when he "got serious" and cut of his fro the novelty was gone and he was just a bad slow point guard. i hated ryan bowen while he was on the team, but i already miss him a little.

all, the Barry kids, except for Brent, hate Dad.

Rick Barry walked out on his wife and 4 young boys children for a slut.

    my votes with rybo.
but i don't know why u guys didn't like the francis era. I always thought they should've kept that team together for another year. I loved the oops from cutino to francis or vice verse. And i thought they were building chemistry with the big MAN. Yao was young then too, less assertive. I miss those days. Francis always stuck up for yao too, i liked the chemistry.

Yeah, I hear that. That talent level and overall IQ would have compensated for age, and would have done well to keep an erratic Francis under control.

Hell, even Clyde and his creaky knees would have made an impact (if he hadn't retired, of course).
