I need to make a family tree and im too lazy to draw it out so im going to use the computer. Whats the best way to make one? Is there a software (Free) that makes it easy or i should just use the autoshapes on Word?
Is it a huge family tree? If so I would plan it out on paper, then use Adobe InDesign. But if you're stuck with Office.. I'd suggest Excel, strangely enough. At least the cells provide some semblance of structure for your layout. Word will just drive you nuts.
